This is a decent set of weights if you’re a novice, or just want to maintain strength without having to go crazy with large plates & long bars. It’s also space saving for anyone who needs to consider where they’re going to store exercise equipment. Each of the individual bars can be used for arm curls but the bar is too long to use them both at the same time…the ends closest to the center of my body bang into each other. But they work for isolated bent-over rows or triceps kickbacks. Once they’re screwed into the center, padded, bar, it becomes 44” long and is great for deadlift, curls, and bench-press. Someone (other than me, lol) could probably clean-&-jerk but you’d better have a soft landing! The kettlebell attachment is pretty cool & adapts to several plates but when the bar is screwed in all the way, there’s not much room for my hands. When I loosen it an inch or so, then the whole thing is long and swings a lot. That took me a while to get comfortable with. The center piece that connects both straight bars is padded with dense, soft foam and I can see this wearing through and tearing with frequent use while doing close grip lifting. The screw on collars come loose a bit between sets but the thread patterns are LOOONG winded, so they aren’t going to come off unless you haven’t tightened them in many workout sessions. The weight listed on each plate isn’t 100% accurate since 1 kg = 2.2 lbs, not 2 lbs, but if you aren’t training to compete in an Olympic powerlifting event, that may not matter much. The weights of the other components are: Each dumbbell bar 12.4 oz Barbell connecting rod 13.4 oz Total of the 3 bars connected 2.4 lbs Kettlebell handle with base 22 oz/1.4 lbs Each screw on collar 0.5 oz This is a nice set to start out with if you’re just beginning to lift weights, or if you’re (old like me, haha) looking to maintain strength & mobility. But much of this set is plastic so it’ll require some gentle handling. They also included a pair of gloves & (I assume wrist) bands which was a pleasant surprise. The whole set takes up very little space so that’s a consideration too. The $120 listing price isn’t out of the ballpark, so it’s relatively cost effective also. ... show more

This set is exactly what I was looking for. It's supper easy to put togther. I love the fact u can alter the weights so if u want less weight u can put less and if u want heavier u can have that too. I didn't need anything to crazy heavy so these did just the job. I love it.

Not sure about how wide the bar is--I have to be careful because they aren't compact like the ones at the gym. These are wider. It'll be a learning curve. Also the weights are kind of weird. I got the 2 lb. plates, 3.5 lb. 6.5 lb.... I can't make a 10 lb. dumbbell! Oh well!

Additionally, the set includes a kettlebell attachment, which you can customize with your desired weight. This 3-in-1 functionality is great for a variety of workouts and perfect for someone with limited space. Quality and Feel: The dumbbells are made of vinyl, and while the quality is decent, they do feel smooth and comfortable to the touch. The grip on the dumbbell handles is thick and non-slip, which is a nice feature, especially during intense workouts. The padded connector is soft but sturdy enough to handle weight during exercises like squats or hip thrusts. Adjustability: These dumbbells are adjustable, but not in the same way as some high-end models like the Bowflex, which use a dial to select the weight.
