The adjustable weight range from 6 lbs to 25 lbs suits all my training needs, and it's super easy to set up. The modular nature of this weight set allows you to create whichever kind of weight you want to use. I will be honest however- taking it all apart and reassembling it is rather tedious. My recommendation is to choose what kind of weights you want and leave them that way. I purchased the 66 pound set and currently have one lighter dumbbell, one heavier dumbbell, and a kettlebell. Because they are not metal, you're less likely to cause collateral damage if you drop them or bump them into a wall or something. And speaking of bumping into things... the long screw threaded ends are prone to cause problems if you're not careful with them. On the flip side though, they make great hand grips, and let you get away with using a dumbbell like a compact barbell. All in all, it's not perfect, it has it's flaws, but it's still a solid set weight set. ... show more

Ok, here we go. I am marathon runner, bikker but not a gym guy at all. I bought the complete 88 LB set about 3 weeks ago. When I openned the box, I was nicely surprized by the design, quality and soft touch of the material. It is not cold and scary like the metal ones and it invites you to use them daily. I am very happy with it so far, I see my muscles to come back and get back to shape. I fit them all in one basket in my closet. No one even knows you got them. Space saving in any household and little studio. A great gift to yourself, husbands, fathers or anyone that likes to stay healthy and active. Save a couple month gym membership that you never use and buy this. Make sure to thank me later. Come one, let's do it.
