This is a great inexpensive safebox. It is rather small but it looks very sturdy. You can set a PIN to unlock it and/or use the security key to open it up. It comes with screws so you can attach it to the wall. A big, water- and fire-resistant black bag is included and can be used to secure your important documents such as passports, cards, etc. It can fit a small handgun/pistol but not a bigger gun as it is small in size. The lock is lose and shaky. Seems like it would be very easy to break it off. The lock itself works good and easy to program. Nice little lock box but with the piece being so shaky I don't put much confidence in the security of my possessions.

This isn't large or heavy enough for you to keep the family jewels in or anything. Someone could easily pick this up and carry it away with them. I did not take any stars away due to its size because the dimensions were clearly stated when I ordered it. I could only order the .23 Cu. Ft. for reviewing. It will hold very limited documents, some valuables or smaller gun. It has two holes in the bottom and back for mounting but the provided screws wouldn't stand up to a crowbar so I'd get some stronger/longer ones. The face sounds like plastic when I tap on it, not sure if it is or some thin metal? The little knob thing feels a bit flimsy but along with the key you can easily open the door. I don't know if I trust the whole battery operated punch code thing as if batteries died and you couldn't find the keys what happens? I'll stick to the keys. I know, a few ifs in there. It is really light and would take much to walk off with it, it was much lighter than I would have expected. I think if you have small kids this will do better than nothing to keep a gun out of their hands and every gun owner with young children in the house who doesn't keep their weapons secured somehow is a stain on all. ... show more

A well made small safe, I use this one in my office. Setting it up and attaching it to make it secure didn't take much time at all and I have had no problems with it locking or unlocking. Make sure that this is the right size for you - it is small and will not hold much.
