UPDATE: It does work! You have to snake the cord around the lid so the battery door can close. Otherwise, nothing will happen. You just have to be able to close the door (don't force it! --there's a gap where you can feed the cord through so you can close the door). OLD REVIEW: It fits the Canon Mark iii battery slot but it doesn't charge. Maybe the cable is too thick and it's not carrying an electrical charge? Either way, money wasted. Fits well in Canon 7D and powers the camera. There is a cutaway that allows the cable to pass safely with the battery gate closed.

Now working like a dream, just as an FYI, you have to run the cable out through a little flap on the inside of the battery slot. I've got it running on my old 7D as a long term high definition (4K HDR) time lapse and its now been working for several days.

The cable is too thick to choose the battery door even when the cable is properly routed and it makes this virtually useless for a Canon 60d.
