Hi all, UPDATE: I thought I would write an update on the batteries from U-tec. While the batteries didn't last long, the company wrote me and asked me how they can better support me with the batteries, and they sent me another set of batteries for free. That's above and beyond service. Thank you U-tech! Thoughts these would have been perfect to fit my current U'tech key lock entry, but these batteries lasted less than a month. They replaced the defective unit free of cost I changed the rating to 4 from 1 based on their customer support. Let’s see how the new unit works. ————- I bought u-bolt-pro-WiFi by u-etc back in March 2024. The app recommended that I need to buy u-tec lithium batteries too for better performance. Two and a half months later, my lock stopped working. Called support and they suggested, I should just use normal alkaline batteries. The lithium batteries are u-tec branded. What a waste of money. I'm using these batteries on my Blink doorbell. Alkaline batteries do not last very long, so I'm going with lithium. The price of these batteries is much better than you will find anywhere else. You don't need a high price and a brand name for a quality product.
