I have had this system for over a year now and I am impressed with its performance vs. the price. I have expanded the system from the original 4 cameras to 6 cameras. As you can see in my sample photo the clarity especially in HD is excellent. The good: easy to install and ultra reliable. Rivals more expensive systems. Many functions and features. Clarity of images great. Range of cameras is impressive. Customer service is excellent and ultra responsive. Does not effect your internet bandwidth. Peace of mind. Areas of improvement: The app needs to be revised. It constantly shuts down or won’t start unless you try to use it 10 times. UPDATE: Cromorc contacted me immediately regarding the app issue and determined that I downloaded the wrong app. After downloading and installing the correct app the issues completely vanished. Very good customer service! The listen and pay attention to their clients needs! The cameras are not weatherproof. They MUST be under an awning or covered with a shield over them. They WILL fill up with water and become unusable. The motion detection is super sensitive even in the lowest setting. It cannot be used outdoors due to this. Every little wiggling leaf will set it off. Spiders love the night vision lights so they make webs in front of the lenses nightly. In conclusion the system is excellent and I have recommended it to many folks in my town. I comment Cromorc for producing this system at such an inexpensive price for what it can do. I already had cameras and a monitor set but needed to add more to try to reduce shoplifting. I contacted customer service to make sure a second monitor and more cameras would work. I received a quick response from Cindy, plus I had a camera issue when the new set arrived. Cindy was responsive with every question and solved my issue. The system is easy to set up. Up to 8 cameras can be added, though 4 seem the most ideal for quick screen viewing, but it is easy to switch to different cameras with the mouse. This is rather easy to install, and I am not too technical. First make sure that you use the right adapter (plug) for the video or it won't record. Look at each adapter--all say camera, and one says video recorder. Also do not add the NVR to any repeater or router with a firewall. If you do, you won't be able to access the cameras and feed from your smart phone or computer. Luckily, I have such a router for my other security devices and could add the NVR there. Overall, this was easy to install and the NVR picks up each camera automatically via WiFi. I set motion alerts and my smart phone gets motion alerts, but with each alert, I have to open the app and then look for what's going on. I thought it would send a screenshot. The app wanted access my phone's microphone. I can't figure out why. The cameras have no audio input or output. Also the night vision is very poor if the camera looks out a window; all you see is the IR reflection. ... show more

I am very satisfied with the purchase based on several days use. The system is very easy to setup, the video quality is super both day and night. I particularly like the feature that live video can also be viewed remotely on a computer. My only issue came from setting up a password for the system. My initial password was 13 characters long, although the system let me change it on the NVR, when I put the same password on APP for a phone or CMS for a computer, it kept saying wrong password. With help from Cindy at customer service (very responsive, Thanks), I realized that password has to be 6 to 10 characters. It was my fault not reading the manual carefully. After this error is corrected, the system works perfectly now. ... show more

UPDATE! I really don’t understand all of the negative reviews on this system! I had a small issue with the screen and the company replaced the entire system in two days! I didn’t want to have to take down my cameras etc and I found in the system setup an export and import option. I was able to export my original configuration from the damaged screen to the new screen and all four cameras popped on immediately after restart! The book gives u step by step instructions. I really don’t understand the issue here! This is a great set for the price and easily expandable. I am going to get at least one more camera. I stand by my original review! I love this system! I love this system. Hands down. I previously had just an older Uniden system, but Thursday our shed was in the middle of being burglarized when we inadvertently scared them away by turning on a bathroom light. Pulled the video and nothing usable. Ordered this immediately and am kicking myself for not doing it earlier. I know it’s odd to say it’s customizable but it truly is. There are alarms for each camera and area. The screen is extremely clear and and a perfect size for what we need. The picture, super clear and the camera has no lag or skipping in playback to monitor. Shipping was two day prime and the unit was packed tightly and securely for shipment. If you are trying to decide between a few different units, forget about them and definitely do your self a favor and spend the money here! So worth it. ... show more
