Pros: Design Flexibility: The wall-mounted and recessed options are a big plus. I went for the recessed look, and it fits almost seamlessly. Ambiance: You can switch between log and crystal bed visuals, which is a cool way to change up the vibe. The flames look surprisingly realistic, especially with the different color options. Convenience: Comes with a touchscreen and remote, so it's really easy to adjust from anywhere in the room. The remote works reliably, too (not always a given with these things). I like everything about it, the options I have to install outside the wall or the inside, I’m going to install inside the wall, it’s funny how real the fire looks, unboxing was a challenge thinking I didn’t want to brake the front glad until I noticed that this thing could be dropped from the truck and nothing would happen since it’s was so well packed. The features of the timer and temperature settings was a plus, and also I like the Blue fire, something different, FYI it’s does the job of heating the place.definitely value for the money. 60’ fireplace, 83” TV, 13’ wall (including bookcase), and 10’ ceilings. Modern minimalist look is what our goal was and the fireplace fit perfectly. It generates a good amount of heat you can feel 8’ away from our couch/living room area after about an hour of being on the high setting. The area past that not so much, which is fine and understandable. Again, it was mainly an aesthetic purchase for me to build the media wall around. Flame is great looking, but the tiny twigs could be bigger. The only downside is that it is a bit audible. Similarly to an electric space heater with a fan. It’s not noticeable when people are talking or the TV is on at any level, but when the room is quiet you can hear it for sure. Overall we love it. ... show more

Fire flame is not like shown on their picture. No where near the flame height or brightness. I purchased this FP because there was less frame and the log set. There is NO frame or reveal so the opening has to be exact. No room for error. Now having to order a $50 log set to get the stand look of a FP with logs not sticks. Haven’t operated the unit other than the initial startup process. Will update if anymore issues. ... show more
