I purchased this CarPlay radio for my '98 Honda Accord and it is amazing. The radio has a lot of functions in addition to CarPlay. The screen quality is very good, for the price the color and resolution are great. And there is no lag when switching or using apps. It has both USB-C and USB-A on the front, very accessible compared to some other brands that fish a female USB-A cable through the sides. It also comes with a backup camera! It took me about an hour to install, pretty simple. The instructions were fairly adequate. I did watch some YouTube videos before I started. Just be sure to buy the correct harness and brackets for your car. The sound is very dependent on your cars speakers but there's no interference or static that comes through. It includes a microphone for calls as well. This one basically gives you every accessory you need. My only grip would be the volume buttons are kinda hard to use. I saw a different model with a dial knob, thought capacitive buttons would be better but after using it I think the knob would have been easier. You definitely need to look if you're driving and want to change the volume. Overall a great product at a great price. ... show more

Head unit works great. Zero issues really. The Bluetooth Apple CarPlay was a big selling point for me. Works great and turns on seamlessly about 10 seconds after I start the car. I purchased the dash kit seperately, but it looks almost factory and fits great for a double din radio. I regret not purchasing a better wiring harness as I had to tap into my ignition wire, but relatively simple install. I recommend getting a harness from Crutchfield, I’ve used in the past and they come with everything you need and the correct pin out. The radio has tons of features. Great EQ settings. I have not yet installed the back up camera, but it seems like a pretty simple task. ... show more

I bought the Linux version for a 2004 Hilux. I went to a shop where someone experienced could properly install it, the screen is fine, responsive and the quality it's good, sometimes android car fails but nothing to be worried, the volume external buttons aren't lit so it's difficult to use the at night. But now I have two problems or maybe one, the first one, the seller gave me the wrong camera for reverse, the video it's upsidedown I think the sent the wrong one, I think that one is front side of the car and the second problem wich I think the person who installed it , perhaps did something wrong, the thing is that when I'm on call the sound doesn't come out, you can't hear the other person on the speakers. But overall, it's not a bad radio 👌 later I'll upload images of the camera ... show more

I bought this unit and it didn’t work well at all. The CS team reached out to me after seeing my disappointment with the unit in the review and offered to replace the unit. The company reached out to me through email which blew me away because no one does this anymore. They sent me a new radio, and it is working fantastic now. All my concerns and issues with the first purchase are fixed. I definitely recommend this unit, it is easy to install and took me about an hour to install it. I’ve had this radio since last year and in January of 2024 the radio started acting up. When it was too cold outside the radio wouldn’t cut on until I drove my truck for a while and it kept making my subwoofer have a static noise until my truck warmed up and now as of today September 1 ,2024 my radio won’t cut on at all . So now I have to buy a brand new radio 🙄 ... show more

Edit: After going through the email loop with these guys, they did respond favorably and actually replaced the stereo, I asked if they could bench Test, it before sending it to me... They did and the sent a picture of the radio powered up and working. It took me a little time to get everything working, but now its fully functioning and I couldn't be more impressed. The Customer Service was exceptional, and the response time was very good once we got off the email trail... I love this stereo and honestly after receiving the first one I didn't hold much hope, but it's fantastic, amazing value and sounds and operates incredibly well even in my Big Rig... wanted so bad to like this product, but after messing around with it for literally hours, I could not get it to power on... I triple checked the connections and all the fuses, but to no avail... This thing is nothing but a paperweight at this stage. I contacted support 4 four, times and all I received back from them was a PDF wiring diagram, and 3 emails telling me to check various connections. I would not recommend this item, I know other have had luck with it, but at this point I have to assume their quality control leaves a lot to be desired. ... show more

The andriod auto blue tooth fails to connect almost every day and you must turn your car off and back on to re-boot and try again. Overall just disappointing.

When you are connected and answer a call you can barely hear the other person. It could be a setting but I have tried everything with no solution. If I turn the volume up all the way once the person hangs up the Stereo sound will just about bust my speakers when music comes back. I have to get my phone then set it to speaker to take the call then fumble around and try and reconnect to radio. So pretty much not useful to for hands free driving and phone calls. Also kind of finicky about connecting to my phone once In a while It just won’t then all of a sudden it will mid drive!!? Camera works well. I don’t like the volume buttons very small and there is not a mute so turn it down before you get to the drive thru window.!! Or else you will fumble with the volume buttons. ... show more
