These little sticky shapes are SUPER sticky and they work really well. The nasty little plant gnats seem to love them and they fill up with them quickly. Only downside is they look super gross when they get the gnats on them! And then if you accidentally catch your sleeve on one they stick to you and come out of the plant and you get buggy nastiness sticking to you! For bug-phobic people beware of this lol. I have screamed a few times recently discovering this issue, but its a user issue not a product issue! These are great for what they are for and I'll definitely get more! It comes with a little shovel to help you dig a spot in the plant's dirt so they the poky part will go in (its very flimsy plastic so it doesn't just stick into the dirt. If you've ever noticed those annoying gnats in your houseplants, these are a good solution. The bugs are attracted to the yellow color and meet their doom on the sticky surface. I've used larger, rectangular versions and they work very well, but aren't the most attractive addition to houseplants. Works great for small flies on indoor plants. Change them out every month or however often you need; they stay sticky for a pretty long time. When paired with a vinegar trap, it pretty much cleared my fly problem.
