This item is super easy to hold and use, but it is all plastic and does not get hot enough. This might work for someone with fine wavy hair, but on my coarse curls it just never got hot enough to do a blowout without creating a huge amount of frizz. I gave it time to adjust, I tried different techniques and products but it just leaves my hair frizzy. Unfortunately I gave it too much time and missed the return window. :( ... show more

This tool made my daughter’s and my hair drying and styling much faster and easier. I got slightly stumped how to use it when I got this. It has multiple attachments and was just puzzled how to use each one correctly. So thankful for the easy to understand instructions and guide booklet. It has multiple speeds and heat settings to suit your needs and care for your tresses. Changing the attachments is simple and easy, and including a protective glove is thoughtful. Even though we are still learning to use it adeptly, the curling wand is our favorite. The curls come out pretty and bouncy. Hair is also smooth and manageable after drying, no frizz or static. We primarily wanted this dryer brush for its air curling abilities. We were pleased with how it worked - the airflow was good enough and if you follow their video instructions on what to do, and what not to do, then you should get some pretty good results. The other feature we tried is the air drying brush. There was plenty of airflow. I'm not sure if the advertised "ionic" part did anything or if it's true, but it certainly dried hair quicker than air-drying it. The form factor is a bit silly and the wall plug seems "cheap" for a high-electricity kind of appliance, but it does seem safe enough. ... show more

So with this unit you definitelt want to section out your hair into small sections for the machine to pick it up and wrap it properly. There is definitely a learning curve to this and it takes a little patience at first to get into the groove. Once you figure it out though, it goes quickly and works well. It comes with a lot of attachments that are just kind of in a cardboard box.
