    • Perfect fit for my tank and it works better than I expected with lower wattage.
I bought my 5th wheel travel trailer slightly used and the former owner did very little to no maintenance when it came to the water heater. The water where the rig has been over the last two years is very hard with a lot of minerals and the old element which was a 1500W was corroded and the anode in poor shape. I replaced both at the same time gave the tank a good vinegar soak for a day or two and started over. I was concerned that the 1440W would leave me underwhelmed but to date I have had no issues with hot water being cooler than I wanted and the recovery time of the tank is much better than I expected without the current draw of a 1500W element. Very satisfied with this element and now that I have included a water softener in the line I expect that this element and anode will last much longer than the original element. ... show more

The heating element on my RV burnt out and needed to be replaced. This fit just like it was a factory product. Worked great. Plenty of hot water while camping.
