I received the 50ft Dual Camera borescope defective with a blue screen. The Oiiwak team had included a contact card for support so instead of trying Amazon i contacted the manufacturer. Surprisingly they do stand behind their product and were genuinely concerned of the cause of the defect and provided return shipping to examine and resolve the nature of the failure within their R&D team. They also immediately shipped a replacement which was quickly received over the holiday weekend. The Oiiwak team communicated throughout the process to ensure I was satisfied with their product. Simply amazing customer support. Just consider they are overseas so their response timing is later in USA EDT, but this made little difference once realized and found they would respond within their schedule. For the product, well packaged and nicely designed for simple operation. The handheld is not ruggedized, but was never advertised as such. I would not recommend for daily use, however purchasing a similar scope for random usage (I purchased for scoping inground pool lines which was perfect at 2" pvc) which is designed for daily use would cost 10x easily, making this an excellent value for scoping long runs. The video quality is designed for close up and in focus shots with the ability to take video on an SD card. I was also surprised with the lighting control functionality as LEDs often do no dim properly. Additionally both cameras have their own light source with the ability to see each individually or dual onscreen.     • Great product overall!
My old honda starts to give multiple issues now. I used this tool to scope my individual cylinder walls, piston heads, and valves through my spark plug seat. As well as cv solenoid leaks. The camera was very easy to use.it is very easy to move and navigate turns and bends. The quality of the image was decent. The images were clear and well defined provided the camera was the proper distance the object being viewed. The hand held portion was a little light weight. I don't think it would stand up to a lot of day to day abuse for professional use. But for "As needed" use it is a great product. Overall it is a handy tool and I am certain I can find other uses for this camera in the future. ... show more

    • Good device, a couple issues
Bought this to help with a drain auger that I purchased and it's worked okay so far. The cable is definitely not stiff enough to maneuver through a drain on its own without getting bunched up, but if you're putting something else down at the same time (like an auger) you can tape the two together and then it works well. The quality of the camera is pretty good, and the device is mostly easy to use, but not everything is super intuitive at first so you might have to spend some time playing around with it before you really figure out what everything does. It would have been nice to have a more detailed instruction booklet come with the product. Overall it's definitely not perfect, but it worked well for me and, depending on your use-case, it has a good chance of working well for you as well. Edit: Customer service reached out and informed me that they do have another product that has a stiffer cable (though it is shorter), which was the main problem with this one.     • Reasonable price drain camera
Kind of neat to have a camera that you can send down a drain to see inside. The wire is stiff but I found it works better in outside drains to tape it to a drain snake so you can push it through. The camera gives a clear picture if you point it at yourself, but keep in mind inside a pipe you may or may not see anything. If the pipe has muddy water, then visibility is very limited.     • Useful but not great for pipes
I bought this with the hope of inspecting the main drain line under our foundation. Unfortunately his unit is not really suitable for pipes since the cable is so flexible it can't really push the camera more than a couple of feet into the pipe. The cable then just bunches up when the camera reaches any kind of bend or resistance. I tried attaching it to a steel spring drain snake, but the contraption got hung up on the first couple of pipe joints it encountered so I gave up. It might be fine for looking into a sink drain, but would get hung up at the trap. Still, this camera is a handy thing to have on hand. For instance I wanted to see inside the drip pan of our basement dehumidifier to see if it needed cleaning, and I was able to just poke this camera into the hose connection and take a look inside. This saved a lot of time since otherwise you'd have to disassemble the whole unit to get to it. I am also planning to check inside our AC ducts and can think of all kinds of other uses....just not looking into plumbing...which is one of the things they advertise. Regarding the unit itself, the case does feel like a cheap toy and the sliding on/off switch does not inspire confidence. That said, the picture is clear, it can take still and video, and the dual camera option is nice. You can also take the SD card out and load any stills or video onto a computer (if you have a card reader) for review which is nice. This made it difficult to choose how many stars to give it since it sort of does what it says, but it's just no good for inspecting plumbing as advertised. I am glad I have it, but having used it for a bit I wouldn't buy this particular one again. I'd probably look for one with a shorter 25' cable, a more solid case and maybe higher definition than this unit's 720p. ... show more

    • It is a great tool for the price.
I have used this device twice so far and it has a good picture and very easy to use. The only issue I have had, is the places I have needed to use it have sharp 90 degree bends within a foot of entry and it gets hung up on the connectors. It takes a little bit of work but eventually gets the job done. ... show more
