Description

Klein Tools ET16 Borescope features a 9 mm camera surrounded by 6 LEDs attached to a 10-Foot (3 m) armored gooseneck cable. The digital camera has a USB Type-C (and micro-USB) connection for most Android (OTG 4.0 or higher) smartphones and devices. The camera and video output is displayed on the Android device using the free Klein Tools ET16 Borescope App, available for download at Klein Tools website and Samsung Galaxy Store. The ET16 does not require batteries; it is powered by device connection. Inspection Camera works with Android devices via the Klein App. Borescope features a waterproof camera and a 10-Foot cable. Display, store and share high-quality photo and video. Six white LEDs with adjustable brightness control for best pictures. Direct USB Type-C connection with adapter for micro-USB. Does not work with iPhone just so you know Its plug and play so simple You download the Klein app and plug it in and it works absolutely no setup could not be more simple The tool itself is very sturdy and waterproof nothing beats Klein

    • Rough around the edges, but pretty good.
Works well when it works, takes a bit of patience when it doesn't. When working, the app works well, camera works well, and the LED flashlight built into the top does a decent job illuminating what you are looking at. If the space is too big, the light might not cut it, but thats to be expected withe a borescope. If ever the screen is black, turn up the light. It's not always a glitch in the app. Periodically, the app flutters in and out, opening and closing. I seemed to find that different positions and orientations of the plug made a difference. But, I didn't have enough technical issues that it wasn't usable. And, most importantly, the length was spectacular. Helped me get deep into the bouls of my ductwork and located my problem. Overall, I'm happy with the product and will definitely hold on to it for future endeavors. ... show more

Nothing on the screen when the app is initiated. You can control the light easily enough so it's drawing power from the phone, however when you try to get any kind of image a message pops up saying there is no scope connected. I've read this same issue from dozens of reviews. So MOVE ON. DON'T BUY THIS. The app doesn't work and the scope is useless. I'll have to return it. So disappointed from Klein tools. They usually make good products. They have an absolute DUD with this pile of junk. Too bad. ... show more

Does work but the image is not good quality at all. I expected alot better from Klein. Good thing it's not to expensive or I'd definitely return it

I had bought a cheap Chinese one through a company off Facebook. It had issues connecting to my phone. I bought this one, instantly works and has a great picture too.
