For the price, compared to other similar items, I was worried that this might be cheap and break quickly. It’s held up really well, good as new, despite the abuse from my family. The finish wipes down easily so it’s easy to clean and keep it looking nice. The foot pedal and mechanism are easy to use and seem very sturdy. My only complaint is the area inside the lid near the lid opening mechanism has a tendency to collect crumbs and small trash scraps and is not very easy to clean. ... show more

I got this because it was the cheapest big stainless kitchen trashcan at the time of purchase. The lid is heavy and keeps smell in and bugs out. My cats and dog can't open it either.
