    • Nice, but heavier than expected
This is a nice hose for light use, and the connections are smooth and leak-proof so far. I just think it's heavier than other products out there. It's certainly lighter than our old rubber hoses, so a huge upgrade, but it seems heavy for the length. I'm also concerned that it will rub the stain away on our 2-tier wood deck. We won't use it for that purpose. It's a nice and good quality hose for very specific uses. ... show more

It's super light weight, almost like you're carrying nothing. Taking it out of packaging and laying it out was a snap because there were no twists or kinks to get out. Water pressure was normal, but I wish it were a little longer. I'll likely use it for my garage and front yard where it's stored in the garage out of the sun. Living in a desert climate at 110° sometimes I can't see how this will remain cool to touch, so I'm not gonna take my chances with that. I see some pics on here show it in some sort of sleeve, mine doesn't have that so not sure if I'm missing something? ... show more

I really like this hose. The metal sheathing is new for me. I’ve always had the heavy-duty rubber ones that don’t curl too easily, this one doesn’t kink at all. I wish I had gotten a longer one because it is lighter and easily bends in tight coils like a rope and slides over itself. It doesn’t get snagged easily, making it a joy to use. The only downside being that the bare metal gets hot in direct sunlight. It maintains good pressure and the hookups on each end seem precisely machined rather than simple pressed metal. I wish I had gotten a longer one because 25 feet doesn’t go much farther than our patio. It’s more expensive than a regular garden hose but I will definitely be a longer one of these in the future. ... show more

I just discovered these hoses this year and so far I’m very pleased. They are surprisingly light (like a shower hose) but very bendable and flexible, and seem to be much less (if at all) prone to kinks or flats due to being stepped on. Only caveat, should you step on it, be careful, it may roll under ur feet and trip you up. - They also are very smooth on a hose wheel, glide on/off really nice. This particular brand has a brass fitting but the extension after is plastic, so that part could eventually break. My other had a 4” brass “handle” as well. Comes with plumbers tape and a couple extra washers. **. RATINGS **: A solid 4- will update if needed. -> (*RATE SCALE*: 5=perfect; 4=minor imperfections; 3=on fence; not sure if I’d buy again; 2= too many problems; 1= shouldn’t be sold or is dangerous). ... show more

The media could not be loaded. The Artistan 25ft Stainless Steel Garden Hose came with 3 spare washers and a roll of Teflon tape (Photo 1). The hose line is 2 inches in diameter and has ¾ inch diameter brass fittings on each end (Photo 2). During use, there was no leakage coming from the connection between the spigot or the garden hose nozzle (Video). If curious, the video also shows the distance that a 25ft garden hose provides. I was looking specifically for a short garden hose to use to water the flowers in my front yard and this works perfectly. The hose is long enough to reach the middle of the two flowerbeds while wrapping nicely around the edging and providing little excess (Photo 3). Since it is lightweight, once you are finished using it, it’s easy to quickly roll up and store nicely on a hook (Photo 4). Cons – Due to the design of the garden hose, it is possible to get dirt and debris stuck in between the ridges of the hose line if dragging (Photo 5). ... show more
