    • No leaks, very kink resistant
I'm a big fan of metal hoses for many (but not all) applications. I have found them to be the most durable form of hose in my desert SW location. They are impervious to sun and thorn. They seem to all be made in a very similar way. The one challenge they have (this one included) is that the attachment ends, especially the female end, have very few threads. That said, I've still found them to work well. I hooked this hose up and it worked fine. I put it on a shut off valve and let it sit a bit - no leaks. I once had one that burst when I did that, which I'm guessing is a manufacturing mishap that reveals itself quickly. This one performed fine. My wife especially likes this hose type. She can move a long hose a lot easier. They are very easy to move around. This 25 ft one is really easy for person with low arm strength to move and maneuver. It's also highly resistant to pokey things like mesquite. The only thing I disagree with is driving over these hoses - in my experience, they smush. I wasn't willing to drive over this one as a test. ... show more

    • Just a good hose
So I have a similar hose that's only 3 feet which I use for a pump. Wonderful, and when I saw this longer one I immediately wanted it for my garden. These hoses are rugged and that's the main point. The Texas sun cooks the rubber in a hose no matter what. The more heat, the more pliable the more kinks. This doesn't kink or not up when you store it. It also doesn't get caught on stuff. Like any hose if left in the sun the water inside gets hot. For what I need it for, a garden, it's a great hose. The length is adequate for what I selected for. I use water hoses all the time, Your either watering something or cleaning something. I keep it on a hose rack. It's surprisingly light weight and coils/uncoils easily. The fittings are standard and I can easily attach standard hose attachments. (Sprayers, Sprinklers, Wands, additional hoses etc.) It has plumbers tape, which I'd use if I were placing it in a location permanently, but I coil after use and store so not needed for me, but it's nice that they include that and extra washers. 25 feet is not long, so having that to connect to another hose is practical. I don't really have anything negative to say about it. It's exactly what I would expect. Overall, I love this hose. It's exactly what I wanted in a garden hose. I feel it will last a while and I shouldn't have the issues of a normal hose after a long hot summer. ... show more

There isn't a whole lot to this hose - and that's a good thing. Most garden hoses are bulky and take up a lot of space but this hose reminds me of the hand held hose you might find in a shower - it's thin and strong. The hose comes with three spare washers and some teflon tape, for any connections you want to make. Be aware, however, that the handle/extensions on each end of the hose, are screwed onto the end pieces. If you want to hold the hose steady so you can detach a spray head or something, the handle will break loose and you will have to tighten it and try and coax the attachment off. That can be problematic if things are attached with a strong hand. You will probably need a channel-lock pliers or something similar to detach whatever you have put on there. Overall I like this hose - it appears to be strong and when I attached it and pressurized it, it held pressure with no leaks. One caveat, it tangles easily if there is no water pressure on the hose. You don't want to force it to untangle because I can see a situation where you might force a leak, but it untangles easily. Like most things in life, treat it with care and respect and I believe it will last you a long time, and it is easy to coil and move around. It is strong and light. I recommend it. ... show more

    • Stainless Steel Hoses are Great – and This One is No Exception
I really appreciate metal garden hoses. They are so light compared to good quality rubber hoses; they don’t kink and they take up so much less space. I keep on adding metal hoses as I can, and when I saw this DayisTools, I ordered it. I like lots of things about this hose. The end connections are brass. I don’t know how important that really is, but all of the expensive hoses I’ve used have brass connectors. They won’t rust as steel ones might and they will surely last longer than plastic connectors. The end protectors on the hoses are made of a sturdy plastic. I don’t really know why they’re there, but I suspect that it reduces the stress of the hose at the transition point of hose to end connector (which is probably the weakest point of the hose). The hose is strong and slippery (easy to pull along the ground or around corners). You’d be hard pressed to press it hard enough to squish it. It coils easily and into a small area. I keep mine on a hose hook in my garage, and in the summer I’ll be moving half of what I have to a hose roll in my yard. Wonder of wonders, this hose comes with a roll of Teflon tape and three extra hose washers. Now all I need to do is to put them in a place where I can remember where I put them. The hose did not leak when I had it under pressure or while using it. Great! ... show more

I never thought I would be impressed with a hose, but here we are! The quality is very apparent and while I typically think hoses are temporary, this one looks like it was built to last! The stainless steel hose is very flexible, light, and strong. The fittings are also very well made. however, it's where the two are connected that really impresses. The connectors are made of high quality hardened flexible plastic or rubber that does a great job protecting the connectors. Highly recommended! ... show more

    • Lightweight and durable
This is essentially a much longer version of the type of hose that come with the those detachable faucets on kitchen sinks. Though this was not what I had been expecting to receive, it turns out it isn't a bad thing to for a garden hose. It is very lightweight and seems to be quite durable. Being stainless steel, I would expect this will hold up well for quite sometime. It's material and design prevents it from getting tangled up, which is a nice bonus. It is a thinner hose than the typical garden hoses we are used to using, but it does wrap up easily, and doesn't take up a lot of space. So far, I've been happy with this hose.
