As a veteran of assembling many entertainment centers, end tables, etc, this was a piece of cake. The instructions are just a few steps, all pictures, and about halfway through you don't even need them anymore. If you have your own tools, use them. I did not feel like going out into the cold to get mine, but the provided wrenches worked well enough. The frame appears flimsy until fully assembled, then seems plenty sturdy enough. It looks like any normal foundation after the cover is slipped over it. I am a 300-lb man, so I will update the review if there are durability issues, but honestly I don't expect any. ... show more

Box came with a rip in a corner and the screws and tools in a ziplock bag from a grocery store. Instructions not very clear. The Allen wrench provided was clearly not the right one thus I had to buy a set myself. The rods at the end were hard to push into place but they are very solid. I definitely recommend buying this if you don’t mind putting it together. Not sure what went on with the packaging but everything was there. Seemed more like something I bought off fb marketplace used instead of Amazon brand new. But the packaging is the only issue I have. ... show more

I really love this bed frame. My grandmother’s antique full size bed was just gifted to me and this bed frame fit perfectly and it’s very sturdy. The instructions were easy to read and understand. I had no difficulty putting it together. I did get some help with the first 2 steps putting the frame together so I could put the screws in just enough to hold it together, but was able to complete the rest by myself. That’s good for me as I’m a 50+ year old woman and lack some strength. The cover is more like a fitted sheet (but thicker) as it does not go all the way around. I think I would have preferred it to go around the entire frame, but this is fine as well. I still give it 5 stars. I’m very happy with my purchase. ... show more

The box spring was easy to put together and looked nice after it was set up. It probably took me about 20 minutes because I had one of the pieces flipped upside down (I must have seen a squirrel and was clearly distracted at the time). The picture/directions are easy to follow and accurate if you use them as intended...lesson learned. It's basically a metal frame that has a fitted cover that you put on after the frame is assembled. The underside doesn't have a cover, but instead has 4 elastic straps holding the top and side portions in place. We paired it with an Amazon Basics bedframe and it fits snuggly like it should. It feels sturdier than the box spring we purchased from Ashley Furniture for a different bed. I would have preferred a solid covering for the bottom, too, but overall it's nicer than most box springs you'll find. ... show more
