Got this to replace the bulky box springs under our king bed as I was getting fed up of having to literally climb by way up into bed. This is a much more reasonable height. The only thing I’d suggest is if you’re using it on a metal frame bed, get some adhesive rubber pads to place on the bed frame, otherwise the box spring will slide all over the place! ... show more

Don’t waste your money on this crap. Has 1 million bolts you have to put in with tiny itty-bitty screws. When you put your mattress on top of it, it makes the bed WAY to hard. Get a real boxspring, made out of wood with the cover and thinner metal brackets. This thing isn’t a legitimate frame.

Low profile and works really well . The original box spring was about 8 to 10 inches high and the mattress was the same size and the supports on the frame were high which made the bed high enough that you had to either use a step stool or almost jump up on the bed.
