I read reviews on electric fireplaces for weeks, and finally decided to get this one. The 5 star reviews were right. It arrived fast. Easy to set up. Looks stunningly beautiful. And it has a thermostat feature to set the temperature you desire. It has multiple flame choices. Real looking logs. And you can run it without heat and just enjoy the flame. The fireplace is beautiful and very easy to set up. The materials are sturdy, solid construction with a nice white finish. The flame is very realistic with a few adjustments to make it brighter and control the flame height. The heat output on this is fantastic. I have it set to 72°F for a fairly large living room but the temp setting goes to over 90°F. There is some noise from the fan motor that may be annoying to some but its not very loud but it is noticeable. My only complaint is this arrived with a broken remote which is very annoying since you need to get up if you want to do any adjustments. Gotta give the remote a 1 star since i cant use it. ... show more

Received this fireplace and was excited to see it was made better than some of them- this piece in the pictures came wrapped separately so I thought, ok! After putting the whole damn thing together and then going to put that piece on , we discovered it was actually broken off and someone just put it in a separate bag and said to hell with it. I refuse to take the whole thing apart and ship it back but beware if you buy this- check EVERY part before you put it all together!! EDIT Amazon customer service was helpful once I explained the issue! Received a discount and am able to keep the item without having to take it apart and return it ... show more
