The only thing we could say negative about this is that there isn’t a slot in the cover to leave the grill post on. You have to remove the grills in order to use the cover. Otherwise, this fire pit is great. It looks nice, works just as expected, and seems durable so far!

We received the fire pit in good order. There were a couple of dents in the cardboard packaging but they didn't affect the product. The packaging was sturdy. Assembly was fairly easy, just took some time, and two people to work together. When attaching the legs, we screwed the two bottoms screws in first, then attached the inside screw. This pulled the leg tight to the sides of the pit. Make sure you follow the instructions to not tighten all the screws before finishing the assembly or things will not fit and line up right. We used the fire pit last night to roast hot dogs and make S'mores. It worked very well. We kept the fire small and it lasted a long time. We haven't tried cooking on the grates yet. I'm very pleased with the fire pit so far. For the negatives, I was disappointed to read the instructions not to cook food directly on the grates but to use foil or a container instead. No reason was given. I was looking forward to those nice grill marks on my steaks. Also, it did not come with a cover to protect it from the weather as do some of the other fire pits. ... show more

There was a little damage to the box that had us concerned, but all the parts were fine. Assembly wasn't hard, but there were a couple points where a second set of hands was useful. Have a good sized table or be comfortable sitting on the floor. Had it put together with a fire burning in about an hour. Perfect size for our deck. My husband felt it was fairly easy to assemble. Good quality and the product is sturdy especially for the price. We have not used the grilling portion next but it will be in the near future. Definitely recommend some type of base ( we used left over slate tiles) for safety if you are going to be placing it on a deck. ... show more

We purchased a 36 inch fire pit and we're a little unsure at first if it was going to be big enough once it was assembled, which was very easy and we had our first fire we were ecstatic. The pit is deep enough to hold a decent amount of logs And it throws quite a bit of heat due to the holes there around the bottom ring. The unit came with a cover, which is nice because it can double as a table if we are not using it as a fire pit. The only complaint I would have is that the fire poker only has two prongs on it , but by no means is that a dealbreaker I would highly recommend this unit to anyone ! ... show more
