The traps are so sticky that they trap a lot of flies. I moved my tomato plants to spend the winter indoors. Due to overwatering, so many flies appear near the soil and fly around the pots. I put 4 traps in each of my pots and they worked great and traped a lot of flies.

To start, these are incredibly sticky so if something lands on them, it's not getting off without help. I also like that they're double sided so you get a little more use out of them. The interesting thing though is that while these worked excellent for fungus gnats in plants, the fruit flies wanted nothing to do with them. We had a problem with fruit flies in the drain and even adding these near the sink where they were flying did nothing. It wasn't till I placed one of these in a dish filled with vinegar that I saw any success. But if you're getting these for gnats you typically find in your plants, they work great. ... show more

These are so extremely good. I could not figure out what was going on as our house was invaded. Bringing in the houseplants from outside maybe? Well guess what it was rotting to the point of liquid, potatoes left in a crockpot. So gross ! I put one of these in a plant and the next morning there were over fifty on one side. The bugs were drastically reduced in a day or two. Just getting the stragglers now. I would recommend as well as go back and buy more. That and don't let the kids put away groceries ! ... show more

We were overrun with those tiny flies that come in with the bananas. We stuck these in the house plants and under a couple of kitchen cabinets. Took a few weeks but lots of flies stuck to yellow cards, no more flying around the apartment.

    • Nicely made, but what’s the secret?

Well made items but I literally only had one “customer” after putting several out in key places for weeks. While these didn’t work for me, I see photos from others that show they are indeed very useful. I reluctantly went back to the old recipe of vinegar and soap and that worked pretty well. However, I would have preferred to just use these stickers instead, but the gnats in my area avoided them like they were forewarned. I still gave three stars for the fast shipping and the nice idea, as it seems to work well for some, depending I guess on how clever their gnats are. ;-) ... show more
