    • VERY SATISFIED :: A few suggestions for assembly.
The media could not be loaded. Very satisfied with this Aura Brand Bistro Set; For the price point (recv'd a $20 Coupon at time of purchase - July 2021), I find this Aura Bistro Set to be of good value. Aesthetically, it's a nice design of intricate and pleasing details. Build-wise, it's of decent construction (lightweight, durable, machined aluminum pieces fastened together with studs and bolts), and the materials used would suggest this set will hold up over the years to come--that is, with normal use, nominal care, and in following the suggested weight limit of 200lb. per chair. Once assembled I found that the seating is relatively comfortable--as much as would be expected for a metal bistro set. While I don't personally think it's necessary, I suppose you could add seat cushions for more comfort. One minor thing I noted is that the table feels about 2"-3" too high relative to to the seating height, but as I don't plan on using this as a desk or for everyday eating, I don't find that problematic. I find this to be a very nicely designed bistro set with vintage appeal and a satisfying amount of comfort and sturdiness. All that said, I felt compelled to offer some suggestions that may be of help with assembly as I did note some discrepancies with the provided instruction sheet. Furthermore, I'm providing some tips that may keep the metal-to-metal fasteners from loosening over time. TIPS FOR ASSEMBLING THE BISTRO SET :: PLEASE SEE ACCOMPANIED VIDEO FOR ILLUSTRATION OF THE PROVIDED TIPS. Tip #1 :: USE YOUR OWN WRENCH. In my experience of putting the bistro set together, the provided wrench did begin to strip after tightening only several of the nuts. While it most likely could have finished the job, I just preferred to use my own tools and that worked out nicely. If you want to feel a bit more reassured going into assembly, a small adjustable wrench or a combination 9/16 wrench will do. (see accompanied video for illustration) Tip #2 :: USE THREAD LOCKER ON FASTENERS (For more structural integrity) Thread locker is an adhesive compound that will help to ensure threaded connections (nuts and bolts) will remain fixed over time, and it prevents loosening of nuts and bolts that sometimes naturally occurs from repeated usage and expansion/contraction of materials due to extreme changes in temperature (weather, sun exposure, snow exposure, etc.) --this especially can occur with metal-to-metal fasteners, such as those used in the Aura Bistro Set assembly. A small tube/bottle of Thread Locker will generally cost between $5-$10 (and will be enough for many applications). It's generally sold as removable (blue-colored compound) or permanent (red-colored compound). While both will dry to create a permanent "lock" on the fastener threads, the red-colored compound is meant to more heavy duty stuff such as automotive engines and machinery. I recommend the blue-colored compound for a project such as this. (SEE ACCOMPANIED VIDEO FOR ILLUSTRATION) Tip #3 :: INSERT ALL THREADED STUDS PROPERLY. The instruction sheet (as of July 2021) neglects to illustrate that each stud has a closed-end and a socket-end. Before you insert the threaded studs into the furniture pieces, be sure that the socket-end (the end that will allow you to use the hex key/hexagon wrench) is facing away from the furniture piece (toward you/the assembler). The closed end is inserted facing "into" the furniture pieces. This may seem like common sense, however , if you follow the instruction sheet chronologically verbatim, it does not clearly specify and knowing this can save you a lot of potential frustration. (SEE ACCOMPANIED VIDEO FOR ILLUSTRATION). Tip #4 :: The Instruction Sheet Illustrations of the Table portion Assembly Weren't entirely Accurate to the product Received. (As of July 2021) I noted that the table assembly had some minor differences than was illustrated on the assembly instruction sheet. Perhaps there was a design change somewhere in the production stage, and the directions weren't updated; Either way it wasn't too difficult to figure it out, as the illustrations were similar, just not exact. Just something to note before you dive into your Bistro Set Assembly experience. Be mindful; Have Patience; You'll get there. The Bistro set was broken up and shipped separately - we got the third piece several days after the first package came. If there could have been a note in or on the first package that the rest of the 4piece set was shipped separately then I could have given a 5star rating on my first review. Absolutely perfect for our patio. I ordered two sets. Mine was delivered in two orders. I was nervous that I was missing pieces. However everything came and it is exactly what I wanted. Easy to assemble. Came with additional hardware. I need a few more sets so I will definitely reorder.

Nice looking bistro set. Although it took me longer than the suggested 30 minutes to assemble, it was an easy and painless process. The chairs sit lower than I realized they would but are comfortable. Couple discrepancies: the pictures on Amazon show a weight limit if 200kg so I thought they’d be more than adequate, but the picture on the assembly instructions said 200lb which is quite a difference. I weight more than 200 pounds but the chairs seem sturdy. Also the instructions indicated there were different screws to use to secure the table ring to the legs, all the screws were the same type. They worked and there was even an extra screw, washer and nut left over. This is a nice looking set at a reasonable price and I expect it will hold up well on my patio. ... show more

This is cast Aluminum as advertised. it is a nice-looking Garden accent. it you're wanting a dinner table then, go spend $500 more or even a lot more than that. I am very happy with it the price is right, and it looks good on my front porch. but please don't let you 600 lb. wife sit on it.

I am very happy with this bistro set. It is exactly as pictured in the ad, and an excellent value. Items in my town that were similarly priced were nowhere near the quality of this set. It arrived promptly, and was easy to assemble. I love the color and it is sized perfectly for my deck. The one thing that could be an issue for many people is the size. I am 5‘1“ tall, and the chairs were perfectly sized for me; they would be too short for a taller person, say somebody 5‘4“ or more. The instructions I received for assembling the set were not accurate, but they were not really needed so it was not an issue for me. It seemed like the assembly was improved and maybe I got outdated instructions. Again though, assembly was easy and obvious so not a problem. I am VERY happy with this purchase! ... show more

This set is made for very small people. I am 5'3" and I feel like a giant when I use this set. It is very lightweight. Would be good for tiny people in small spaces.
