The media could not be loaded. Got these specifically for my cat crate. They do bulge out a little so would need to consider safety with kids but definitely manageable because you can move it to any side of the crate, which is why I love it. It comes in multiple sizes that I use for my large dogs and small cats. The screws are easy to put on and take off so I can travel with it and screw the bowl to the top of my dogs crate instead of taking a high feeder.     • Macaw Proof So Far
I use a large dog kennel as a travel cage for my Catalina macaw and have had difficulty finding dishes that he can't tip or pull out and dump. Most bowls only have one connection that basically turns into a pivot point, and he can completely spin the frame and tip the bowl out. These have two connection points, so they can be placed outside of two sets of bars, making it impossible to spin. Another issue that I had with other bowls is that they were easy to pull out of the frame. Once I found a way to stabilize the frame so he couldn't spin it, he started just pulling the bowls out and tossing them around (he's a bit of a jerk). These bowls have a third bolt that screws through the bracket into the bowl itself creating tension on the bowl to help keep it in place. They've been in the cage for a few hours now, and he hasn't managed to pull them out. As others have mentioned, there are no instructions with the package, so I had to look at the images here to figure out how they were to be installed. That is the only reason that I didn't give them 5 stars. Overall, I am so far quite pleased with them. If that changes in the next few weeks, I will update. ... show more

I bought these for Feline Mom and her kittens. They work well for Mom but I installed them too high for the kittens. I still used them for Mom to keep kittens out of her food! They will be fine for kittens once I lower them, at some later date! These are good sturdy bowls and once installed on the kennel are easy to remove and clean bowls. I don’t have a good picture, you can see them attached in the bottom of the images, maybe it is helpful, maybe not. Probably not, lol. I advise you to install these to the kennel before adding animals to the kennel. I purchased after I got the group, and it was a little upsetting to feral Mom while installing. Obviously, if you have a dog, they will work great for pooches too. ... show more

Initial review of this product looked really well. It appeared that it was a good value for the money. However, upon using this product outdoors, it does rust easily for the brackets.

The big ones are good and sturdy for food. The small ones aare good for birds or cats, not for dogs.
