Cons, my printer had issues with the heating element after about 20 prints. Once the printing starts, I have to go into the heating element and reset the temperature. The media could not be loaded. For its price, it does a great job! I’m really a beginner when it comes to 3d printing but I was able to navigate the app and print outside source 3d models. It comes with its own filament, and really easy to install. Printed within 5 mins of opening the box. The toy I printed in the photos took 1 hour which was not bad because the print quality was great. This printer sits ontop of my dresser and does not take up space at all. OVERALL I am so satisfied with this 3d printer, as a 24 year old, I feel like a kid again so happy with a new toy ... show more

This is marketed to kids but is just as good for adults that want to get into 3d printing but maybe are not good at tinkering and messing with things to get them working right. This all came well packed with a lot of foam to protect it during shipping. It comes with a ton of accessories and different color filaments. All of the filaments come in air tight bags to prevent moisture absorption, which can ruin the filament and cause issues during printing. One of the filaments air tight bag was not sealed, so I will have to try to dry out that filament before using it but the rest of them were fine. This printer has a pretty small print surface but it does have a flexible magnetic removable build plate. This makes it really easy to get your prints out of the unit and off of the build surface. You can just flex the base and the print should come off. Printer has everything ready to go in a small portable package. It has an interior light, a door to keep the heat in during printing which can help with layer adhesion. It even has a camera inside to watch your prints as they are built. The camera is fairly low quality, but get the job done and is a fun touch to watch and monitor the progress. I did not have to do any calibration and the unit is printing just fine. They are not the cleanest prints I have ever seen on a filament based printer but for the price and inclusion of everything it is really impressive. I was hesitant to try out this printer as I have another larger printer that I have had for several years. This printer really impressed with with everything it came with and how easy it is to get setup and start printing. Even the quality of the prints for a small cheap printer is really great. I saw a new brand of filament and had to give it a try. I ordered a bunch of colors and I’ve been happy with them so far. This blue is a good mix between a cobalt blue and a royal blue. The filament was nice and straight and wound neatly. It was vacuum sealed very tight. My first step when I get a new filament is to print a couple test pieces, I use these as a baseline to compare all of my filaments. The first test piece is for print quality. Over hangs are good, bridging is good, and very little stringing and only on the horns, but this is characteristic of anything I print this model out of. Compared to some others, this one is not bad at all. Now the other test print- I use this one for destructive testing. I’m happy to report that I was not able to break it with my hands. This stuff seems to have very good layer adhesion. It seems nice and rigid and strong. For those of you with a Bamboo AMS, I believe this spool size will fit, the dimensions are approximately 60mm x 195mm. It’s plastic and has a nice thick rim. Overall, the print quality on the blue is pretty fantastic imho, the only thing that would deter me from purchasing this on a regular basis is the price. It’s printed great so far and on the larger prints I’ve done I’ve had no issues with warping. ... show more
