Let's face reality, plants draw bugs, and nobody wants to spray poison all over their home or office. These things are a lifesaver, and I cannot express how well and instantly they work. I put these in my plant in my office. I know it's gross, but these things catch the little flies so fast I cannot get my hand away from them before at least one fly makes its way right into a fresh trap. While I'd love to figure out what is drawing them to my plant, or where they are coming from, at least I don't have them flying all over my office. I changed out the traps this morning, and in the photos, you can see one I pulled out which had been in for about a week. I have a lot of indoor houseplants, and every so often when I buy a new one I get those tiny fungus gnats. I have tried so many ways to get rid of them, and these little sticky pads are one of the best ways to do it. Granted, you will be sick of the color yellow after a while but ultimately, they get the job done. Be careful when handling them because they are definitely super sticky, and will stick to anything they touch (you, plant leaves, etc). These come with the cutest teeny tiny shovel- less than 5 inches long. You don’t really need it, though, and it comes unnecessarily wrapped in more plastic. I just put some in, so while I can’t be sure yet they work, I bet they will. Be sure to place them where they won’t stick to the plants’ leaves. ... show more

The only reason I don’t give these a 5 star is because they don’t have a non sticky base. Something to handle without getting the glue all over your hands or trying to insert the posts is impossible. Otherwise, a great product and value for your money, time and frustration with the glue.

I use these in all of my houseplants. They work great and much better looking then than the square sheets with wooden sticks. My only complaint is they only come with 2 stakes but the mini shovel is a plus!

As someone who has dealt with multiple fungus gnat infestations, I've purchased many different types of these yellow sticky traps over the years. These are great but there are pros and cons to them: Pros: They are very cheap for the amount you get. Many of the yellow sticky traps come in smaller packs with maybe 2 or 3 stakes to attach them to. The pack I bought came with 65 sheets and 12 stakes, so very good value for money if you have a large infestation. Cons: The glue they use on these is incredibly frustrating. As soon as you get it on your fingers (and you will), it is very hard to get off. Obviously sticky glue means the bugs won't have a chance of flying off, however other brands of these traps use just as sticky glue but somehow it doesn't get all over your fingers like these do. I've tried using rubbing alcohol, soap, nail brush etc and the glue is persistent. The best way is to just use a dry towel to rub the glue off. Better yet, use gloves to keep the glue off your fingers. Overall, I would recommend these to anyone who needs a lot of sticky traps due to a large bug infestation. The value for money can't be beat. If you only need a small amount, use a different brand as the glue is very frustrating to get off your fingers. EDIT: I’ve found GooGone to be the best way to get the glue off your fingers and anywhere else. ... show more

I bought these because our garden had some white flies that were messing with the leaves. They are super sticky and were the perfect alternative to chemicals. Keep in mind....they are super sticky. We found lizards stuck to them. Was not happy about that but they worked so well, I put new ones out and hoped for the best. ... show more
