These do work very well. I have been buying these for 3 years now and they keep my home from becoming infested with fruit, fungus gnats. Sprays can be effective as well, i have felines in my house and I don’t like using sprays as it affects the health of the plant as well as potentially the feline. They are very sticky so you have to be careful when pushing them down in the dirt. I found it easier to stick it in the dirt first and then carefully remove the white peel to reveal the sticky side. These are perfect for getting rid of those pesky little fungus bugs. Worth the money and so easy to use. They are perfect for medium or large plants. These are great for houseplants dealing with gnats, especially when they’re most prevalent in the summer. I have a LARGE houseplant collection and they kind of got out of hand. I ordered these on a whim because I hate how the yellow ones looked and the black ones could arrive faster. I was SHOCKED by how many gnats stuck to it in a 24 hour period alone. I know the yellow traps are supposed to attract them most but I had way more success with the black. I’m assuming it’s because the gnats think it’s soil and land on it (but that’s just a guess).
