Works great and is sensitive to motion to turn on light bulb and is adjustable to on/off time. All 3 worked fine. Good to save electricity.

    • Have Only Used One Of The Three But It Is Working Just As We Had Hoped
This was a great alternative to having to replace the pull chain/string controlled light fixture once again. This was used in a light fixture above the laundry area of our basement where we have had to replace previous fixtures that were controlled by a pull string and chain which would break. The fixture works great but there was no way of turning it on and off so when the chain broke on the current fixture with the light on, I decided to try something different. This motion sensor was my best choice and upon receiving them I was able to install one in the socket very easily and it began working as we had hoped. Now when we approach that corner of the basement, the light comes on and stays on while we are moving about. Generally, when we are withing 10-12 feet of the sensor, the light will come on. Occasionally, if we have not move about within the sensor range, it will turn the light off but all we have to do is wave an arm to make it come back on. Much easier to install this than changing out the entire fixture. ... show more

Last time when I ordered this motion sensors did not work at all, I returned those and re-ordered new one, and this time all 3 of them are working as expected, its worth value, wish range of motion detection was bit strong. Nevertheless , would definitely recommend this. Between, I ordered one more set of motion detectors and those worked fine as well. Happy with this product. Easy to install and works great. only issue i had which is not an issue but the description says light stays on for 5min at max setting which is not the case. all of mine at max stay on till 10 min so i had to climb the ladder to fix that since i did not need the light to stay on that long. out of my 3 pac 1 did not work, seller was great and resolved the issue. would definitely recommend this for anyone looking to update to a motion sensor light with little to no extra work. ... show more

These turn on with motion but they don't stay on long enough. I bought them for closets that have just a bulb with a pull chain but after you walk into the closet I don't think that it can detect motion from directly under it and so it turns off. It works for smaller closets but not for the walk-ins. ... show more

    • Shutoff the INSTANT you stop moving regardless of how they're set!
I got these for a pair of lights on the ceiling of my garage so they'd turn on/off on their own whenever I was in the garage. They have a dial to adjust how long they stay on after they stop detecting motion, which I set to the longest time (5 minutes). They come on as you would expect, a second or two after I open the door to the garage and take a couple steps inside. The annoying thing with these though is that the INSTANT you stop moving after getting to the box or cabinet or trunk in the garage you need to rummage through or sit down at a workbench, both lights IMMEDIATELY turn off. You're then in pitch blackness and have to wave your arms around for several seconds to get the damn things to turn back on - only when they turn on for the SECOND time do they stay on for the time they're set for! I suppose this is a case of the design trying to be too "smart" for its own good - they're trying to reduce wasted energy when something momentarily goes by the light (like a bird flying by), but there's no way to disable this stupid "feature". ... show more

I put this in my laundry room that is dark and doesn't have a switch. It has a cord and so now, when I walk through the door, it just comes on. I used to leave the light on and it was using more electricity. Now it's only on when I'm in there. So far it hasn't turned off on me and I've heard that other brands can do that. ... show more

You really can't say much about a motion sensor to turn on the lights. They just work as advertised. They come on in a couple of seconds every time. Happy with my purchase.
