I had a surprise c-section with my 5th child nearly 2 weeks ago. I've still got a lot of pain from the pulling on the incision which leads to swelling if I'm standing or sitting upright for too long. While wearing these bands it really helps to minimize the discomfort. I still have to take it easy to heal, but I can join my family at the table for meals without feeling like I'm ripping my stitches open. It also really helps to stabilize my hips so that they aren't popping every few steps. I do recommend laying flat on a bed and having someone else help you to get the bands on flat if possible. This garment has been outstanding for my post c-section body in getting my belly to shed the extra fluid and help my organs shrink back down to size and proper location. All the doctors in my hospital recommend belly wraps that are similar to this one and the price is much more favorable for this particular one than the others. I tried a few different types of belts after my pregnancy and this one is the best one I tried. It’s really easy to put on and the built quality is really good. For the price point this is a great belt! No need to get something expensive. I just wished it came in more colors like a white or maybe even a light pink. I am 15 days postpartum and this wrap has been working for me. I started wearing it a day after I got discharged from the hospital. I am 5’6” and was wrong about 185lbs pregnancy with belly, I ordered a medium as I figured I can adjust straps and it’s the size I was wearing before and during pregnancy. I was skeptical at first but it seems to have worked for me. I kept telling the nurses I felt my body weird not in pain in someway I did. My pelvic and lower back was feeling some pain after birth, once I placed the wrap, it all felt better. I could feel how the wrap makes my body help feel back to where things were.
