My physical therapist advised me to wear a PI belt. This one meets all of the criteria she gave me and helps with back pain, however it is slightly big and the two straps to tighten it obstruct eachother.

It did help my back pain, however it smelled so strong that I had to wash everything it touched several times to get the sickening smell out of it. I threw it in the trash just to get it out of my house. I didn't even want to put it in my car to return it. Like I said, it works. It does make you more comfortable. For years I have had extreme nerve pain that runs down the side and front of my leg that started after having a spinal fusion. It literally felt like acid was running through my veins in my leg, especially after sitting or standing in one place. I had bought a hip belt before and it didn't really work, plus I couldn't keep it to stay in place. My Doctor recommended this belt and it's been an absolute game changer. When I have this belt on I have no nerve pain at all, NONE. For anyone living with chronic pain you can relate that this is life changing.
