For years I have had extreme nerve pain that runs down the side and front of my leg that started after having a spinal fusion. It literally felt like acid was running through my veins in my leg, especially after sitting or standing in one place. It did help my back pain, however it smelled so strong that I had to wash everything it touched several times to get the sickening smell out of it. I threw it in the trash just to get it out of my house. I didn't even want to put it in my car to return it. Like I said, it works. It does make you more comfortable. I was in a car accident years ago and have had back issues on and off since. The last two months I’ve had a flair up that has been ongoing. I ordered this belt about a month ago and have been wearing it daily. It’s amazing! I still have back issues and am taking some good meds, but I couldn’t function without the support of this belt. I am selling my house and doing a ton of clean out to prep for the sale. I was also throwing a huge party that required a lot of prep (and then hosting duties the day of)…and I run around after a five year old daily. I didn’t know how I was going to do it all in the shape I’m in. The answer is this belt (and meds!). The belt is adjustable and you tighten to the level of support you want. I lost about five pounds during this time and was able to continue to tighten for max support even after weight loss. The material has been sturdy and the Velcro is very strong. I’ve been wearing this ALL day EVERY day for a month and it’s still in great shape! My chiropractor was also a fan of the belt, so it’s doctor recommended! It does help to reduce pain, but for me the benefit was being able to push through what I needed to and not be in traction. I recommend this to anyone with lower back pain or injury! ... show more

I am wearing this on and off as needed. I have chronic conditions and when my lower back is involved whether sciatic, stenosis, hip flexor or QL. The compression is a good therapy. I also wear it to ballroom dance practice. Thanks

5 stars because my wife have a slip disc and she often gets back pain, doctor suggested her to wear a hip belt for her spine alignment. I purchased this and she uses everyday . It’s fits her and the grip is fantastic. She feels comfortable and it’s helping her with the back pain.
