these are nice for young kids 5 --8 to start learning about the rc hobby. these are 4 wheel drive like it say's in the description, the speed is a bit exaggerated also the seem to run about 5 mph. the control range is not bad. the battery life is short. but like I said they are great for younger kids to play with o a fairly smooth surface. ... show more

    • Super fun cars, but battery takes a long time to charge
They are the perfect size! I have had SO much fun trying them out before I give them to my grandkids, haha! I really like the durability. I have run into plenty of walls and furniture and they just bounce back. The battery instructions say it can take as much as 2.5 hours to charge, but it takes even longer than that. But, it is a good way to force the kids to take a bit of a break and teaches them patience and time management. The cars bounce over a lot of surfaces and just keep going. I really am looking forward to watching my grandkids play with them! ... show more

    • These are a bit disappointing
It's nice that they work. But these aren't 4x4, they're 4x2. They're good for dirt, cement, asphalt, but not good for any type of grass. They get stuck. They are also slow. The batteries take a long time to charge and they don't last long. We charged the batteries overnight and the kids got maybe 10 minutes out of them before they started to slow down a noticeable drop in performance. Their turning radius sucks as well and the suspension broke after going from dirt and transitioning to the cement side walk. I wouldn't recommend these for the price. It says that they are 4WD but they are actually only 2WD. The whole reason I bought these is because it said they were 4WD,4X4 NOT 2X2, 2WD!
