I am thoroughly happy with this fire pit. We have a traditional fire pit for wood burning in our backyard, but we do most of our hanging out up on the deck, so we were looking for something to warm things up now that it’s getting chilly. It put together easily, is nice and sturdy (over 50 lbs), and creates such nice ambiance! We also ordered a weatherproof cover for it, and some pretty blue glass rock. The only downfall is that the amount of lava rock that comes with this fire pit is not really enough to cover the surface area. We put the blue glass on top of the lava rock and 10 lbs covered nicely. I think this was a great deal, much prettier & more useful than a tower propane heater. Definitely recommend! ... show more

This is the perfect size fire table for two or four people, or even six. Super easy to put together and made of quality material. Very sturdy! I plan to use it as a small table and fire pit. Produces a lot of heat. Very happy with my purchase!

The unit was not that easy for one person to put together, but not outrageously difficult either. Just don't tighten everything down until the door is on and aligned. The quality is average. Looks are above average, I'd say. Our friends have complimented the looks. We also bought glass rocks to replace the lava rocks and they add a nicer look to it. It doesn't put out near the heat that one of those standing heaters puts out, but it does put out a decent amount of heat if you sit around it and it is at or near high flame output. You have to watch the flame a bit in the wind, but the flame is adjustable. You can go with a small flame just for ambiance, or full-out for warmth. Overall, we're happy with it. ... show more
