Great first plane for a beginner like me. The foam is light but sturdy and the flight assistance is really helpful. Easy to assemble only took a couple minutes to put together. It has 3 different levels so I have been using as a beginner level with full assist. Just tossing it to get started is simple to get a hang of. The batteries last about 15min each and it comes with 2 batteries. That doesn't sound like much time but it is a long time and super fun during that period. It is rated for 655ft which I hadn't tried yet but I went about 300ft with no issues. I like how prop will come off i stead of breaking if you crash. I haven't broke it yet and hope I never do because it is so durable and fun to use. I can't wait to get better and try some of the higher difficulties with no assistance. ... show more

This thing is a blast! I’ve tried to get into rc aircraft before only to be disappointed. So I was skeptical on the low price tag. But I was blown away how easy and fun this thing is. Definitely worth it and will buy again.

This thing really does fly. Non steerable tailwheel means you have to take off straight but potentially an easy fix. In beginner mode it's very docile and easy, prop saver works like a charm. That being said, I flew mine once and it wound up in a tree. Without the prop saver I suspect I could've gotten it out, but alas. Some PVC pipe oughta get it out later. Alright, out of the tree update. The prop saver adapter on the motor shaft is crummy. Doesn't hold on, full throttle will throw a prop right off it. Crimping it a bit with needle nose pliers helped. I'll be ordering some replacements from a different cheap foamy brand and trying them. I believe the motor shaft is 3mm so I'll be starting there. ... show more

First plane arrived with a sticky servo, causing it to freeze mid flight in random positions and would crash. We also have the LEAMBE P-51 which flies great. Hoping the next Spitfire works better. The shipping was extremely slow. Reordered after the first one arrived unflyable. 5 days between reorder and initiation of shipment. It has sat in Colorado for 7 days with no movement. Not projected to arrive for at least another 3 days. However it may get further delayed. The first order was a similar experience with shipping taking over 2 weeks. ... show more

    • Excellent maneuverability and easy to fly.

I got this for my 12 year old son and this is his feedback. Engine has a lot of power and can fly super fast. The 3 blade propeller has a tendency to come off when flying full speed. Other than that it’s easy to fly and looks like an actual P-40. Would definitely buy again.

Received airplane with wings bent, right wing higher than left, wouldnt fly straight with bent wing, after a few flights the engine stopped working, then became intermittent. I returned it, willing to try a replacment one.
