I recently switched my tin and plastic to a similar recycling bin, but I like this one more. I feel like the wood surround gives it a bit more stability and I like that the opening gives way more easily, but is still able to keep it's shape. I am using this for my paper recycling, and it looks much nicer than the old metal trash bin. The pocket on the side and the extra bag are added bonuses. Also very easy to put together and removing the bag when time to recycle will be so much easier, plus, it holds a lot. This has also recently become something one of my cats enjoys messing with, so the hole is big enough for a cat to crawl into and do cat things. If you're like me and your beverage intake consists entirely of coffee, bottled water and cans/bottles of adult beverages then you're also probably looking for a solution for all the empties that the second two generate. I previously used a much smaller container in the kitchen sink cabinet but that would fill up very quickly and would need to be emptied multiple times a week. At roughly 29in tall and 17.5in wide, this recycling container holds plenty of empties. There is a removable liner with carry handles so you can dump the bag directly into your single stream recycling bin at the end of the week. The black canvas material seems sturdy and the bamboo look trim ring around the top is a nice touch. I appreciate how the lid has an opening where you can insert bottles without having to also lift the lid. My only complaint is that the instructions provided indicate the tent pole style supports are meant to slip into fabric cutouts on the inside. This is not the case. There are no fabric cutouts and instead, there are four long straps that are not open on either end and are connected with a piece of velcro in the middle. The unit is sturdy and the tent poles being exposed on the inside do not create an issue since there is a removable bag in use.     • Versatile Bin
I initially ordered this as a trash bin. But, I am currently using it as a dirty clothes bin in my kids room. It's the perfect size and i really like it aesthetically. It didn't come with instructions, so me and my husband had to figure out how to install the posts in the 4 corners but it's wasn't hard at all. I like the concept and it's perfect if you plan on keeping it in one place. The weight from the bin being full will definitely break the posts under pressure, but thats minor. There's a little chute hole in the top to easily put the clothes in instead of having to lift the lid every time. Overall, it took me and my husband about 5 minutes to pop it open and set the posts in place. It comes with 2 very durable bags that make it easy to grab the clothes out of the bin when it gets full. The size is perfect and I really like everything about it. This is a versatile bin and I would highly recommend this to anyone. Its definitely great to have and it holds up pretty well. ... show more

    • Somewhat difficult to assemble
This thing holds a lot of recycling, and is attractive enough to not be an eyesore in our mud room. The support rods don't fit into the corners very well, though, so they are jutting out from the top a bit instead of snapping under the lid like they were intended to. It's still a pretty cool bin, and the convenience of the liner bags is nice. They seem like the type of material that might fall apart after a year or so of washing, but how clean do you really need something that holds your recycling? I wish the material was more waterproof, but for the price, this is a pretty good bin. ... show more

Ships flat, light weight, and opens large. Pop up function isn’t immediate like some others, but the bin feels nice and quite sturdy once assembled. I bought this for occasional use, rather than as a permanent recycling station, so I love how small it can fold up to tuck away when not in use. This recycling bin exceeded my expectations. It is not flimsy and comes with two removable inner bags that you can switch out when you want to toss one of them in the washer. It was easy to put together AFTER I was able to find the openings to insert the boning sticks. At first glance it looks like the holes are missing that you insert the sticks into, so just a heads up on that! Could also be great as a laundry hamper or to store stuffed animals/plushies. When it says large, believe them. It's a pretty large size container. The material makes it seem more like a laundry basket rather than for recyclables but I'm not mad about it. It might be better to store it somewhere like in a pantry closet or in the garage as it can be hard to place it in the kitchen without it sticking out like a sore thumb. Other than the aesthetics, I like it. You don't have to keep emptying it constantly because it's big so that also a plus. I don't like little bin that you constantly have to empty multiple times a day. That defeats the purpose of having it in the house. ... show more

This was advertised as a recycling bin, but there are not holes to put the standing rods. So not sure what this is supposed to be.
