Like other reviewers, I elected to mount this directly to the wall with a French cleat. Very glad I did. Not only is it rock solid and sturdy, I was able to mount it higher than the legs were tall, giving my bed an even more elevated look. The item itself is a nice heavy linen fabric in dark charcoal with zero defects. The box arrived damaged with the back of the headboard showing through, but I didn't see any damage to the item itself. Legs and hardware included; I discarded the legs as I didn't need them. Definitely recommend this and also consider mounting to the wall instead of to your bed. A French cleat is cheap and super easy to install and wow, does it change the look when you can mount it high! ... show more

I bought the ivory colored Linen King headboard. You will not be disappointed if you buy this. Quality is good and fabric is really nice. It transformed my whole bedroom to get rid of my old wooden headboard. To give it extra height, I mounted it to the wall, not to the bed frame. Mounting it higher gives it the look of a very tall, much more expensive, headboard. If you want to try mounting yours to your wall, buy a set of French Cleats to make it super easy and very sturdy. I always mount my headboards to the wall. Not only do they look better to be taller, but it is also easy to pull the bed frame out from the wall for cleaning. 1 year after purchasing this headboard and it’s still worth every penny. I wanted to wait and see if there would be any issues. There have been none. It’s sturdy, it’s much nicer than I honestly expected it to be. I would definitely recommend.

I shopped extensively locally and on numerous websites before ordering this headboard. There was some confusion with the delivery company but it arrived in perfect condition and looks as described. I would say that it looks more expensive than it actually is. The legs are covered with fabric giving it a high quality appearance. The parts for assembly were well labeled and no additional tools were required. Due to the weight of the king size, two people were needed to attach it to the bed frame.
