I had ordered originally the beige queen with tufted linen to match the decor style of our guest room, however a couple of weeks later I emailed for an order status update and a day later I received a response from the seller that the item was no longer available - perhaps maybe in July - please cancel the order via Amazon! So I cancelled and reordered the beige with velvet - its stunning but not the look we wanted. BTW it does need the legs attached(description listing says no assembly!)Like many reviewers the bolt holes did not all line up so we used alternative screws and are hoping for the best. Then the bolts to attach to our metal standard issue bedframe with brackets - the bolts don't fit through the frame openings, grrrr! So we've leaned the headboard against the wall, put some foam padding behind the lower portion of the legs to protect the wall and then pushed our bed against the headboard. Also FYI the way the legs attach does not line up with the upper part with the finials so it is not a streamlined looking structure, you can tell its pieced together from the side.We thought the vertical wood was a continuous width not irregular. I will try and add a photo. The wood finish is somewhere between the orangy tan and dark weathered gray. Unusual color tone but neutral and goes with the velvet. The velvet has a lovely sheen and appears well made just like the pictures. I won't even go into the rediculous issue with the delivery but thankfully the box was not so huge since it was not assembled with the legs and we were able to carry it to and from our car after picking it up from the wrong location. I love Amazon but this was not a banner experience. Hence, 4 stars. ... show more

We are very happy with this for our queen size adjustable bed. My husband ended up just drilling one bracket into the middle of the bottom of the headboard which secured it to the wall without having to see any hardware. I think it is beautiful and also the exact same headboard was over $100 more expensive on Wayfair so this was a bargain! ... show more

This headboard is beautiful and just what I wanted! It is well made and sturdy. My bed is approx 29 inches from the ground to top of mattress and it comes exactly below the headboard. You will not regret this purchase!!

I just received this headboard today and it is flawless. The wood working is pristine, the cloth is soft and pristine. It is much more solid that I thought when I purchased it. It's heavy duty, the scroll work is excellent, the holes are counter sunk and have metal within the places where the bolts go for added strength. In the documentation that was sent with it, it says that they "...have an obsessive attention to detail." This is not just a slogan for them. I closely examined it and it was flawless.
