So I ordered this set as it had great reviews and it came with salad/pasta bowls. One of the salad/pasta bowls came with a nice big chip in it. So I contacted the company via email. Their response although in German was quick. Lucky our phones now translate languages easily. I sent my order and picture of the broken bowl. And they just asked for my order number and I gave it to them. They asked if I wanted 15% off my order or a replacement. Silly me I assumed they just meant replacing the “one” bowl. So I said I really wanted just the one bowl replaced. They agreed, they were super nice and easy to work with and today I got my “one” replacement bowl with a whole 16 piece set. So now when my other dishes break because we all know stoneware always breaks I have enough dishes to replace half my dishes if they break. Now we’re to store them? I really only wanted the “one” bowl. Onto the dishes themself. They look way less gold in person, thank the heavens! I’m a simple woman and this was one of the few sets that came in brown. All I wanted were some simple brown dishes. And this and some really metallic shinny ones were my options. So I picked these. I like the rims of the plates so when the grandkids come and eat the food doesn’t come off their plate. We all know with kids that’s a problem. Then they came with salad/pasta bowls. That made me very happy. No I won’t used them for salad or pasta but they are nice sized shaped bowls. I mostly use them to eat leftovers in. They work beautifully. So far I have had them about a week and they are easy to wash (that shinny coat has a purpose). They hold up In the microwave well (I already said I eat leftovers). I don’t use a dishwasher, (you know that thing that never gets the dishes clean so you have to hand wash them anyway) so I can’t say they hold up well in the dishwasher or not. I like the dishes and since I have a whole other 16 piece set they will Probably last past 5 years (well if I’m nice to them). So ya I would buy these again in a heart beat. Now can you just have some simpler colors like plain brown you know the color of hot chocolate for the simple folk your selling to. Maybe take that slick easy to clean finish and make it so its not blinding me when the sun is out. More like a satin finish you know so they still clean easy. Thanks again ... show more

Good quality, solid without being overly heavy, nice color dishes. Dinnerware arrived well packed, but there was a deep scratch on one bowl. I reached out as per the instruction card inside the box and they got back to me immediately. They sent me a 2 bowl set as a replacement right away. I loved this set when it arrived and it looks great, however after using them for less than a month now, I am severely disappointed. I just took the dinner plates out of the dishwasher only to discover a large crack on the edge of one. The others are also starting to rub and the black glaze is coming off. After these issues in such a short amount of time, I would strongly advise against purchasing this set. EDITED: seller customer service was amazing. They reached out after my review and sent me replacements which I really appreciated! Again, I really love these plates and the customer service has made me change my star rating. ... show more

Received the 32 piece set. The dishes are absolutely beautiful, Great color. The large plates are a great size with a lip around the edge. The size of soup bowl is nice and deep. The pasta/salad bowl is also a great piece. There was an issue with a couple of the pieces. I reached out to customer support via email and within a few minutes I had a response. Replacement pieces were sent within a couple of days and absolutely no hassle!!! If I could give 10 stars I would. I will purchase from this company in the future. ... show more
