I used a gas weed eater for years and seized the motor. I wanted sometimes that I can throw away after a year or two of use and I was not expecting much. I found this combo which included the blower. It does exactly what I need and cheaper than repairing my gas. For all you haters... you get what you pay for! If you are expecting something more, spend more money on a brand name or an item that's "karen" approved. :) The only reason why I'm posting is because I got side tracked looking for weed eater string. Mine ran out and I should have known that this $100 combo will not come with unlimited string. Overall, it does what I need! It's not a high-end quality device, but it works. The blower is nice... it could be a little more powerful, but it just takes me a few seconds longer. I don't care about that. I just wanted something that works and that's good enough for me. Regarding the weedeater, a higher capacity string and an easy way to deploy it out would be nice. Is there one available? I don't know. AGAIN, it's a cheap unit and works above my expectations. ... show more

This product performs the two utilities I've used which is weed-wacker and hedger. I have not used the chainsaw as I still need to purchase oil (should have been included). Assembly was fairly easy with a small bit of confusion due to your typical less than stellar instructions. Product construct overall is fairly solid though the right angle holding bar is practically worthless being so flimsy. It also comes with only one charger where both batteries are needed to run the unit. Effectively doubling your charging time in between uses. They do have a rather cheap charger available for purchase though. However, the lack of adjustable length proves to be an inconvenience, though not insurmountable for a shorter person such as myself (5'6"). Also, the weed wacker must be physically turned as it has no rotating head in order to do edges. I now see why buying a tool that does three jobs is perhaps less than optimal. Individual tools would have been much more adjustable and convenient to use for their relative functions. I will continue to use my beat up weed wacker till it finally dies over this new weed whacker simply because of the lack of adjustability. The power and cutting is not in question, just it's ease of use for someone my size. The hedger (which was the original reason for this purchase) will be used for the top of my hedges which are tall. However, I am considering purchasing a normal hedger to take care of the sides. Would I purchase this again? If I were 6 ft tall, yes. At 5'10 or shorter I would consider individual tools depending on your monetary situation. I needed an extendedable hedger and rather then go for the individual unit, I thought pay a few more bucks and get two more utilities. While this is still true, having used the extendable hedger now, I probably would have just bought a regular hedger and climbed the ladder like I always did. Life lessons as always :) Four stars rather than five for lack of adjustability, poor instructions for assembly, only one charger when two batteries are required. Four stars rather than three because of general good construction and performance and power to this point. ... show more

Very happy with my weed eater and leaf blower as they both use the same type of battery and both are very light to handle. I even used the leaf blower to blow my driveway and sidewalk off after we had several days of fluffy snow, much better than a shovel.

Just unboxed and tested the trimmer and chain saw they seem good no problems. The instructions on how to assemble are poor, do not lose the washer that goes under the plate for the string trimmer or you cant get a pin in to hold the trimmer head. The worst part is you need two batteries to run the unit but they only give you a single slot charger so you will have to wait to charge the batteries one at a time. Very stupid give us a double charger so we don't have to wait twice as long for recharge. ... show more

I liked the blower it works well. The weed wacker . Was used twice last season 2024. This year it will not spin fast enough to cut one blade of grass. I took battery off it . Used it on blower , and it works great. So the weed waker is tost. They are acting like it should not be replaced. Yes I have not owned it a full year. Let Amazon know this should be made up for me. ... show more

Pros: Well-balanced to decreased hand/arm fatigue, powerful weed trimmer able to slash thru 8-10 inch tall grass/weeds, hedge trimmer can reach tall bushes and tilting blade helps get to awkward spots while keeping you away from brambles, pole saw is effective at reaching tall branches of my oak tree (I've cut branches up to 3" diameter). I've not kept track of how long the battery lasts but it seems to be about average compared to other similar products. The greatest advantage is the modular design, where you are able to switch out the attachments quickly and saves space in storage, since it is not one long trimmer or polesaw, etc. Cons: not much so far. Some people may not like the two 20V batteries required to run the unit as a '40V'. It cannot run on one 20V battery. I've not had any problems and actually like the smaller batteries as opposed to one large 40V battery. I've not had the unit long enough to determine battery life/ durability. I did go ahead and purchase two extra 20V batteries at the same time I purchased the Wild Badger to b extend use time. Charge time is fairly fast. The clasp on the shoulder strap tends to come loose, but I think that is a safety feature in case of emergency (I just use a large carabiner instead). Very happy with this purchase and I use my solar generator to charge the batteries, so very eco-friendly set up. Would strongly recommend this product! ... show more
