These lights may be positioned at various locations inside the garage, including under the hood of my vehicle. It is to my satisfaction that the devices are simple to set up; all that is required is to connect them into an electrical outlet, and they will begin functioning instantly, without the need for any difficult configuration procedures. The ultrasonic technique, in my opinion, is highly successful in preventing mice and other rodents from entering the area. Within a short period of time, I saw a significant reduction in the amount of rodent activity that occurred after I had placed the repellers in key spots. In the past, I often discovered chewed wires and nesting materials in my vehicle engine and strewn about the garage. However, ever since I started utilizing these gadgets, I have come to notice that these kinds of problems are much less common. The knowledge that my property is better safeguarded against the possible harm that may be caused by these pests has given me significant peace of mind as a result of this improvement. In the garage, I employed the strobe lights, and I believe that they offer an additional layer of discouragement by making the atmosphere less appealing to rats compared to other environments.     • Easy to Install in a Vehicle
Last winter rodents cause expensive electrical damage to my wife's car. To avoid anymore unexpected bills I'm doing everything I can to keep them away from our cars. I've put peppermint deterrents under the hood already. I've heard conflicting reports on whether these type of devices actually work at scaring mice away but I figured it can't hurt to try. The device is powered by usb-c and comes with a cable with usb at one end and connectors at the other to attach to the battery terminals in your vehicle. Having a usb-c port means you could plug this in the house or garage if you don't want to use it under the hood. Before putting in the car, I plugged turned it on inside the house to see what it does. On first power up it has startup feature where the lights go off and it makes a buzzing sound then goes into standby mode. When it senses movement the device triggers. I not sure where the movement sensor is but I think it's toward the back. The blue and white lights start strobing and they are very bright. I didn't hear the buzzing noise that I heard during the boot sequence but it is producing sound because my cat was nearby and she did not like what she was hearing. The device turns off when the engine is on and turns itself on when the engine is off. The battery drain on the car seems minimal but I probably would leave on in car that doesn't get driven often enough to charge the battery. I sorry I can't tell you definitely that this repeller will actually keep rodents away. It does do what it says in that it flashes lights and produces an ultrasonic frequency. I haven't seen any rodent activity so that's a good thing. Five stars...for now anyway. I'll report back if mice return. ... show more

I absolutely hate when I go into the garage and find signs of mice. Just the thought of them makes me irritable. I got these CIIC plug-in mouse repellents, and I haven’t seen any signs of mice in the garage since. They can be used indoors or outdoors, making them perfect for sheds and barns too. Using ultrasonic sounds combined with strobe lights, they effectively send the mice scurrying away without using chemicals, so I don’t have to worry about harm to pets or people. The absence of traps means no dealing with dead animals either. During the car hood, but since using this device, there’s been no sign of them. It charges in the car and is noiseless when used.
