Who doesn’t love this hose. It’s wonderful shrinks up so it’s not so cumbersome to use and it stretches out to whatever feet you buy. I got the 25 feet which is awesome. The nozzle has all kinds of settings. It’s feels strong and sturdy really like this product. Great value for the money!

    • Leaks!!! But they made it right!
I wrote the review below, then reached out to the company…and they immediately sent me a new one! Great customer service! I changed my 1 star to 5! I had high hopes for this hose. I made sure to buy the genuine pocket hose. Bought it 3 1/2 months ago and the plastic grips on both ends are broken. And it has sprung a leak about 3 feet from the nozzle.     • Rubber sleeve designed to stop pressure on the faucet, tears far too soon.
Has anyone else have the rubber sleeves tear at the faucet end of this house? My hose tore apart within 2 weeks & that rubber sleeve was there to actually protect the more important connector at the faucet. Otherwise the hose itself is excellent; it def. does what Richard says it does.

I ordered a 25 foot one of these last year . It didn't quite reach as far I would have liked so I ordered another this year. I have bought other brands of retractable hoses prior to this and they never lasted to a second season. I think these ate very high quality.

    • DO NOT BUY Poor sprayer design - Most nozele settings are useless. UPDATE: failing after 9 weeks!
Hi, UPDATED July 12, 2024: I've reduced my rating from 3 to 1. I've now had the hose for not quite 10 weeks and the hose itself is starting to deteriorate. Within the last 2 weeks the hose has started to kink badly making it extremely aggravating to try and water my outdoor plants every day (about 10-15 minutes of usage a day). Also it is leaking where the hose connects to the copper fitting that screws onto the spigot. It's NOT because it is loose on the spigot. It's leaking between the hose and the hoses fixture. I see now the hose has been reduced 20% from what I paid for it. Still NOT WORTH IT. At least the 'cheap' curly hoses I used to by from Big Lots for $12-15 would last 18 months or so before giving out (those are now $20+ on Amazon but still a much better deal) Reallly disappointed in "Al Borland" endorsing this expensive piece of crap. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Ordered this and it took longer than expected for it to show up. Have been using it a week and so far the hose seems fine, though I do agree with others that the stretched out length is not quite 25 feet. Tryig to stretch it that far feels like it's stressing it. I don't have a large area to cover so I'm not as concerned about that as others might be. I will later update the review after the summer regarding longer term use and durability. My biggest issue with it is that whoever designed the spay nozzle clearly knows nothing about watering plants. It has 10 settings, not 1 of which is a suitable "rain" setting to water plants. There is a wide spraying setting but nothing comes out of the center of the nozzle ever. To water my numerous outdoor potted plants the spraying works well to broadly spray the leaves of the plants but I have to bend over each and every pot to actually water the base of the plant. I may have to get out my watering can to use in addition to this hose. Many of the 10 settings on the nozzle are absolutely useless. The nozzle on the "cheap" curly hoses I've purchased at Big Lots and also here on Amazon have much more realistic and functional sprayers with fewer spray settings. ... show more

A bit late in Getting to write this review, but gardens will soon be on our minds. This is an excellent hose, flexible, easy to use, looks handsome and does not leak. I’ll be buying another for the front of my house.

    • Not Sturdy But Useful
I have found that none of these expandable type hoses are very well made. They all seem to have failure points and leak usually where the metal fittings attach to the hose. I gave this product 3 stars instead of less for a couple of reasons. I like the spray handle that is included. It is heavy, seems well made and had many spray options plus a cutoff valve on it. The hose I had tore at the hose guard within 2 weeks. For the price paid for these hoses it should last longer. So far that tear has not resulted in a hose failure but it's not a good sign. The other great thing about these hoses are they are light before they fill up so I can drag a long length onto my roof, have my wife turn on the water and I can go to work cleaning my roof. When I'm done turn off the water and it empties out again. ... show more
