  • Thing is amazing!!!!
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐The Coasteering Cordless Robotic Pool Cleaner (model: Nebula) arrived very promptly after ordering (even a day before estimated date of arrival). Assembling was quick & easy. Once it was fully charged, we used it immediately in our small lap pool, and it performed quite well in picking up debris & leaves (without clogging). This cleaner worked flawlessly in our flat bottom pool. Our plan was to use it on a regular basis over 2 weeks before our pre-summer BBQ pool party this last weekend, and the results were stellar! All of our friends/family were impressed by how clean our pool was - some even asked who our pool cleaning company was. This cordless pool cleaner is easy to operate & definitely much less strenuous than having to manually push around pool cleaning pole. I can’t say enough good things about the Coasteering brand of pool cleaners – operates as advertised; with high efficiency & long run times. Overall, a GREAT cost-effective way of keeping our pool spotless . ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ ... show more

  • Worked great... when it worked
I was impressed with how well this worked when I first got it. It did a really good job cleaning the pool and I thought that I had hit a home run with this. Fast forward 3 days and 5 uses later, and now it will not turn on and stay on. Like a couple of other reviewers, my unit will immediately turn off after turning it on. The battery is fully charged. It now continually beeps when plugged into the charger too. It really is too bad because it did a great job and showed a lot of promise right up until it stopped working altogether. ... show more

  • Easy to use and does a good job
The media could not be loaded. The video reflects a pool cleaning long overdue and due to video time restrictions doesn’t show the whole pool cleaned. It takes some time to clean the whole pool. It self directs so all of the pool was cleaned, walls and floor. For regular maintenance I think this is great. It’s easy to charge and set up. Instructions are self explanatory. Different settings for floor and wall, regular or super clean mode. Easy to clean. My pool due to weather, sat unused for 3 weeks. This cleaned walls and floor 90% the first time. I’m confident it will finish the job nicely after a recharge and second plunge. In the video, the dirty spot that’s seen, was under portable stairs, moved for cleaning. When the robot went into floor mode it cleaned this nicely. ... show more

  • LOVE AT FIRST CLEANING
Love at First Cleaning Having owned a Polaris for over 15 years, I didn’t get much use out of it. I became frustrated with the set up, had to run a separate pump along with the filter (=$$$), and watch it blow all the dirt around while leaving it tethered to the hose. It never yielded good results. After a while, the hose developed “muscle memory” and it followed the same path over and over again. Time after time, I’d have to hook it up, turn on the pump, let it run for hours at a time, only to have to empty what little dirt was in the collection net, break it down, wind up the hose and store it away. Such a chore! I know someone who actually leaves it connected all season, even while people are swimming in the pool! And since it never did a great job, I always resorted to breaking out the vacuum, hooking up the hose, and doing it manually (the “right” way) - with good ol’ fashioned American grit - which is not only time consuming, but exhausting. Needless to say, that wore thin on my nerves as well. It’s bad enough I’m running the filter for all hours at night, I’m still running it for many hours during my cleaning process. Then, a friend of mine said he bought a robot and couldn’t stop talking about it. It wasn’t the CoasTeering Nebula, but it got me thinking; Rather than getting a new telescoping pole and vacuum head, I asked for an early birthday present and my wife got me the Nebula. I was so psyched! The thought of a cordless, hose-less automatic cleaning machine – what’s there not to love? I couldn’t wait to use it! Out of the box, my first impression was, ”Wow. This thing is pretty big!” I checked the filter box and it looked like it could hold a skimmer’s worth of debris. My biggest pet peeve is my neighbor’s pine tree needles and leaves all over the bottom of my pool - especially after a storm. This could be great… I immediately started to conjure up visions of me laying poolside with a cocktail in my hands, while Nebula does all the work! 🤣 The Nebula uses flashing colored lights at different speeds to communicate all status messages of operation. I checked the battery level and needed to hook up the charger for a bit. You should definitely hold onto the manual to properly interpret status communications. I put ‘er to work… When it came time to do the job, Nebula was equally impressive. No matter what the setting, it did what a good robot should - whatever I asked it to. I was amazed to see it climbing the pool walls, and adjusting its path according to my pool shape. The manual says this is due to advanced AI tech. Since it was getting late, I retrieved it after about an hour so it didn’t run to the point of low battery. At the time of this testing, my pool wasn’t even that dirty (I thought) but when I opened the filter box, I could not believe how much junk it picked up. This is stuff I didn’t even see!! This is love at first cleaning. Now the only thing I use my pole for is the retrieval hook! Guess I’ll have that cocktail now! 🤣 ... show more

  • Move along
I wasn’t going to leave a review and just deal with the general crappieness of this robot. It picked up just enough not to make my weekly vacuuming not a 2 hour task. However, after a week of ownership the robot will not charge. I am now returning the robot. First problem: the robot creates too much cavitation and not enough suction. As it moves around the bottom of the pool, it pushes far more debris away than it sucks up. The attached photo is after using the robot 7 days in a row on all four settings. Second problem: The robot will randomly get hung up in a corner or over mover over one section. My pool is 14’ X 30’ (not counting spa, stairs, and sun shelf) well within the robot’s square footage limitation. It seems to run out of battery before it completes its chosen function. My only guess is because it wastes so much time in random corners or sections. Third and final problem: It stopped taking a charge. 3 days ago I cleaned the robot off and let it dry. When I plugged it in, it gave me series of lights that did not match any series listed in the troubleshooting guide supplied with the robot. My first thought was I did not let it dry enough. 1 day, same, 2 days, same, and on the 3rd day same. I started a return. ... show more
