The media could not be loaded. If you’re looking for a pool cleaner, this is your sign that you’ve found the right one. The Aiper Scuba S1 packs a lot of cleaning power in a lightweight package. I’ve had the Seagull Pro for a while and love it but it was a little heavy for me to get out of the pool since I have back issues. The Scuba S1 is much lighter and easier to retrieve. I have a large in ground pool, with a steep slope, in Florida with tons of vegetation surrounding and having over the pool. The Scuba S1 didn’t have any issues climbing the slope and even climbed the steps. The waterline got sparkling clean and all debris was cleaned it off the pool. It has four modes but I’ve only used the full cleaning and eco modes so far. Both have worked as described. The lift out basket mages it easy to clean. This model also has a charging port that’s easy to open and close. That was my only complaint with my old machine. If you need a new pool cleaner, look no further. This hook fits perfectly in a universal pool pole, and snaps in place easily. I like the design better than the original hook it is replacing, since the part lifting the robot is longer and flatter, and therefore more secure. My only comment is that the material is lightweight plastic, so I'm sure eventually it too, will crack, especially if left out in extremes of weather like we get in this part of the country. ... show more

    • Very Capable Pool Cleaner
The AIPER Scuba S1 pool floor and wall cleaner is amazingly capable and performs very well in my 30,000 gallon free-form pool. Once fully charged, it has enough power to perform a systematic cleaning of the entire pool floor, using a logical and deliberate movement pattern that carefully covers the area in a side-by-side series of sweeps. I find that it matters where I start the cleaner, getting my best results if I put it into the pool facing the front of the machine the “long” way and selecting the “floor” option. That way, it runs the length of the pool floor until it reaches the far wall, where it senses the changing angle and backs up a little, moves over about a foot, and returns to the near wall where it started and repeats the pattern for about 3 hours. By that time, the entire floor has been vacuumed and the basket is filled with debris down to extremely small sized particles. This cleaner does an excellent job, even picking up sand that has blown in from the surrounding landscaping. In “Automatic” mode, the cleaner is programmed to perform a different pattern, wherein it systematically, and magically, climbs the walls of the pool and pops out of the surface just enough to scrub the waterline tile for a few seconds before walking back down the wall, moving over about a foot, and repeating this until it has scrubbed all the walls. It climbs all eight and a half feet out of the deep end of the pool without a problem. In my pool with 111 feet of linear wall, it just has enough battery power to do the whole job before it automatically switches over to clean the floor and then it “parks” itself near the wall where it is easily retrieved with the supplied hook mounted to a standard pool pole. To get a thorough cleaning after a windstorm, I charge it up again and then run it in “floor” mode to do a second sweep and by then the pool is sparkling. This pool cleaner is intelligent, comes with a big battery, is beautifully made with precise fit and finish, and has a nice big basket with a very fine mesh. Logically, if the pool is very dirty, you may have to empty the basket mid-course for best performance, but normally, I can just do that when it is finished with one program and I take it out to recharge it anyway. I am very impressed with this AIPER pool vacuum and hope that it performs as well as it does now for a long time, as it is a true labor saving device. ... show more
