Love this automatic cat box. It is easy to assemble and works as described. Saves on litter used and the app for your phone is great. Took our cats a couple of hours to adjust, but they got use to it fairly quickly. The noise level is low and you don’t even notice it after a couple of days.

    • Oh china … you have done it again bad product .
Well for an update this thing has been in the house for 4 months now . I have to say the first 2 months were great then the silicone tray started to leak on the sides . The cat pee gets trapped underneath the bottom and circulates everywhere . Causing pounds of trapped pee and horrible smells to arrive . The box was great the first couple of months . Then took it apart . Cleaned it and put it all back together . Was clean for 3 days . Now the stank is horrible . UPS will not take it back no store will due to unsanitary conditions . Going to file with my credit card company . Oh and not to mention the chinesium screws are completely rusted and stripped . ... show more

    • Works as advertised; not great liter capacity
For reference, I use lightweight kitty litter - I believe the litter you use will strongly impact your experience. The litter box works. My cat goes in the litter box, does his business, and leaves. The litter box waits, cleans, and deodorizes. I get a notification on my phone. I can monitor his body weight and toilet time. This is helpful because he sometimes has stress induced cystitis. There's a removable part that helps prevent him from kicking litter out of the litter box. I kept it off in the beginning because he wouldn't go in while it was there. After he began using the litter box regularly, I put it on. It keeps litter in the litter box. If your cat is like mine, he would sometimes pee on the edge of his old litter box. If your cat does this, you definitely should use this part because it keeps him in the litter box when he does his business. Some people complain that this litter box disposes of unused litter sometimes. This is true, especially when your first fill it. Try to spread out the litter manually before the litter box attempts to level the litter itself. My complaint is that it doesn't hold much litter. My cat uses his litter box once a day. After 8-10 days it needs to be refilled. Sometimes sooner. The app is okay. Some obvious translation issues. I get notifications that the deodorization process is complete but "the taste might not be good" - I am pretty sure they mean smell. At least I hope so. All in all, the name brand self cleaning litter box is several times more expensive than this one, and has none of these issues. I believe you get what you pay for. That said, this litter box works pretty well given the relatively low price. ... show more

    • Aaamazing so far... 6 week update
I cannot speak to the long term durability of this product because we just set it up yesterday. However, if it continues to work as it has so far, I am 1000% pleased. It was very well packaged and easy to set up. The app was simple and paired easily. The litterbox smells GOOD, I think due to the ionizing cleaning cycle. My 14 year old cat was very curious as I was setting it up, but it took a while for her to go in. I actually sprinkled some catnip inside to entice her. So glad I bought this! I will update after we have had it longer. 6 weeks in, I am still very pleased with this item, but have learned a few things that I have found to be helpful: 1. The type of litter matters. Lightweight litter that clumps well is better than regular scoop able litter. I have found that using Arm & Hammer Hardball litter prevents the wet litter from being smeared inside the barrel. I didn't realize this would be the case. I used the Hardball initially, then next time I used regular scoop able and it was messier and I had to empty it more often. 2. There is an easier way to fill with litter. One of the initial challenges was figuring out how to easily fill the barrel with litter. I have discovered that after I have removed the old bag and gone through the 'change litter' process, before I put a new bag in, I pour the litter through the flap directly into the barrel. Easier than pouring in cup by cup, which is what I did the first couple of times. 3. When replacing the litter, the instructions tell you to remove the full bag, then put a new bag on then press change litter button, which fills the new bag with the rest of the used litter, then replace that bag with yet another new bag. Rather than going through two of the small bags meant for this, I remove the full bag, put a regular kitchen bag in the go through replace litter process. After it has been filled with the remaining used litter, I remove it and put the first full bag inside and take it to the trashcan. I would double bag like that anyway, so nothing wasted.     • Wasteful design flaws
Would give zero stars if it were an option. This machine is not worth the money. I bought it thinking it would be perfect for my cat but it does not function properly. The waste door gets stuck open no matter how clean the machine is or how empty the waste bag is. The clip to hold the waste bag on the machine came broken. When this was brought to their attention they admitted to the design flaw but have done nothing about it. There is a minimum fill line and a max fill line. If you go above the minimum fill line, you lose SO MUCH litter. The app is also extremely clunky and not user friendly. (Even for someone tech savvy). I reached out to let them know what was happening with the machine and they agreed to refund me if I cancelled my return request. A refund of a whole $10 for a $200 machine that doesn’t work right. $10 won’t even get me a bag of litter to replace all the litter this machine wastes. Guess we will have to make do with it until we can find something better. ... show more
