been looking for a different type of insert for my shoes and boots, and I thought I would try this one. I am not 220+ in weight, but I figured they would have more cushion than a normal pair, and they do. I am on my feet 8 hours a day 6 days a week on concrete, and these help tremendously. I would love them even more if they were thicker though. I put them in a brand new pair of boots, so we'll see how they hold up to my job. If they do well I will consider another pair! ... show more

So when I first got these I put them in my shoes and headed out to go shopping. Mistake. They fit perfectly in my shoe, however in that position the arch was too close to my heal. It hurt really bad. So it trimmed down the toe significantly so I could move them further down in the shoe. This did the trick and they work well now. You should know that the arches are VERY high in these. If you don’t have big arches these may hurt. It they do I recommend you trim them like I did. I took probably 1 1/2 inches off. I wear a 6.5 shoe. When moving them I noticed my heals hurt a lot less with these in place. It’s just a matter of getting them in the right position. ... show more
