When driving manually, it is very difficult because the controls are reversed. To move forward, you have to press the button to move backward, and to move backward, you have to press the button to move forward. Additionally, the charge doesn't last long, and the car feels unstable.

The manual has schematics that an architect may be able to follow but for a layperson it is not possible. There were no written instructions to assemble the vehicle. The video on YouTube was close but not the same vehicle so it was helpful but not entirely because, although the same color, it was a different model. NEEDS WRITTEN INSTRUCTIONS TO ASSEMBLE, NOT SCHEMATICS. The front axle (steering frame) machined parts did not line up with the screw holes where it was supposed to be attach. The wired rear top bar lights do not have anything to plug in to so they do not light up. The spare tire on the back is supposed to 'pop open' when the toggle pushed, it does not open at all. Other than parts not fitting together properly, the absolute WORSE is not WRITTEN instructions. ... show more

Update: and not to be surprised but it’s a terrible product all around and is like a slug. Very disappointing when this was a gift for the girl in a girl/boy twin. We should have just bought her the same truck model as her brother. Do not waste your time or money. This has to be the worst product I have ever purchased. The assembly directions are horrible and don’t even explain the full assembly. Good luck trying to watch the video due the speed at which it plays and also doesn’t cover everything. Oh and they don’t go in the same order as the written instructions. Almost every piece did not line correctly or plastic needed to be trimmed or holes made. Turning the Jeep over and back for assembly and screws would fall out but couldn’t tell where from. If this thing actually runs it will be a miracle. ... show more

Allow enough time to put this item together, it arrives with many pieces. Easy enough if you take your time. it's worth the time, they do enjoy the vehicles so much.
