I don't use the brushes that were included as I have some of my own. I also really like that these are already on the wood frame (I've purchased and returned another paint by numbers that was just the canvas rolled up). This was pretty easy to paint. There weren’t many small things to paint so it made it easier to have cleaner lines. The brushes provided are the right sizes and the colors are accurate to the picture.

I love paint by numbers and these are really cute! They are pretty easy to do and I love the colors. The brushes that come with it aren’t the best but they get the job one. Overall I am happy with my purchase!

    • Decent intro, one of the paintings easier than the other

I purchased "MT11447+MT11448", which features warm colors and green ferns. I did what looked to be easier first, the one with fewer colors (has a blue area). I completed it in a little over two hours. Colors were mostly opaque, with the light ones needing two coats. Brushes worked fine. I made shapes larger with the greens to hide the stencil outlines. Second one (featuring red) was more difficult and tedious. The brushes, even the fine one, couldn't handle the SUPER THIN details of the image. It feels like the stencils were made into outlines, WITHOUT paint by numbers in mind. The second set featured more light colors where 3 coats still won't cover the numbers and stencil! I purchased this set for $10. I'd be willing to pay $6 for just the first one I did. It was more relaxing and forgiving. Both items have canvases that feel more like paper, less like fabric. But for $10 you can't complain. Enough paint for most colors. I think color (1) of the simpler image barely had enough (given you need more than one coat).
