Initially, I was nervous that it would not hold the weight of my two bikes. I have a Trek mountain bike. And a lectric E-Bike. I wasn’t sure if it would hold the weight of both. Notice: This product was received at no charge as part of the Amazon Vine program but this is an unbiased review. If you’re like me, your bikes always seem to be in the way when they’re leaning up against the wall or by the fence. You have to worry about them falling over when they’re just leaning up against things. With this bike rack, I’ve got a place to hang my bikes to keep them secure and out of the way. The installation and assembly of the rack is straight forward. The only tool you need is the included Allen wrench. The metal tubing segments fasten together with screws. The bike hooks have a soft plastic cover to protect your frame from scratches. The bike hook arms have a spot to place a non-slip pad before you put them on the frame, the black pads are on a small sheet in the parts bag. The hooks can be adjusted up or down and they lock into place with a locking mechanism to get them to the right height for your bikes. You’ve got two options for the installation. You can leave the rack as free-standing storage solution, and let gravity keep it in place, or there are straps to fix the top piece to the wall. For me, I’ll leave it free-standing, that way I’ll be able to move it if need be. It’s secure enough with just gravity holding it upright, there are non-slip feet on the bottom to keep the rack from slipping, and slightly padded cushions on the top to hold it against the wall. There is no tendency for the rack to fall over, but you’ll need to take care when you lift your bike on and off of the rack. If you have small children around, you’ll probably want to permanently attach the rack to the wall with the straps, because if they’re playing around the rack and pull on it hard enough, it could fall on them. All in all, this is a well made bike rack and a great way to safely store your bikes. ... show more

I have two bikes in the garage that were taking up a lot of space (the garage barely holds anything else when we park two cars inside). I wanted to compartmentalize the bikes to save some space and when I saw this vertical double bike mount, I had to order it. The rack is surprising narrow but tall. In terms of building the rack, it was pretty easy to follow the directions and everything was really easy to install together. I ended doing the drill free version of mounting this rack and placed it on my already existing wood beams. It's holding both bikes pretty well. I'm happy I have more room in my garage now and I don't have to worry about hitting them with the car when I park in the garage. I would recommend it. ... show more

I was tired of having my boys bikes parked on the side of the garage always taking up space, so I searched and found the Suchtale 2 Bike Rack. The rack tubes are made of alloy steel and all pieces fit together nicely. The instructions were great - they laid out all of the parts and explained the set up very clearly. No guessing! The set up was completed in under 10 minutes. The four support arms are genius. Simply move the hook in the "up" direction to unlock it so to speak, slide it on the tube, adjust where you want it, then move the hook "down" to lock it into place. It might take a couple of tries to get the right height on both bikes, but it's easy to readjust. I will say when I first put my mountain bike on, I had the rack too tall and not at an angle so it began to fall back. Not a big deal, as I simply readjusted the rack and move the base away from the wall a little. I'm glad they offer nylon straps that can be affixed to the top of each pole so you can screw into the wall to secure it even more. This is a great solution that's drill-free and will help you de-clutter your floor! ... show more

    • Easy to assemble and start using
This was a nice addition to my exercise room. My wife is not happy when I have a bike or two just leaning against the wall in our exercise room. I ride rollers in there when the weather is poor outside mostly in the winter, but even year round when its raining or otherwise intolerable outside. This storage rack makes the room a bit cleaner and since it can hold 2 bikes I can keep a road and a mountain bike in there and its not in the way of everything anymore.
