This safe is large enough for valuables such as documents, precious metals, or hand guns. It comes with keys that you can use if your forget the combination or to change the 4 AA batteries (not included). It has a removable shelf, but you have to decide to keep it or remove it before putting anything into the safe. A missing feature is that there is no light inside. For this price that would be a luxury so I didn’t take off any stars as the price point doesn’t call for a light. It says it is fireproof, but with the holes for securing the safe into the wall or floor I don’t know that it is true. There is a fireproof envelope included that you can store cash (it is the length of a dollar bill) or passports in to protect them from fire.
