So glad I decided on this incubator. My previous one was just not doing great. So I took a chance and this did not disappoint. 16 eggs went in on day one. 5 ended up showing no signs of fertilization. 11 eggs hatched and chicks are doing great. Definitely a success. I love that I can maintain humidity without having to lift the lid. The side water bottles worked great. I love being able to reset the counts to start a new batch. My other did not let me do that. This is a nice affordable incubator. I would recommend this set up to anyone starting hatching eggs. It comes with an insert for larger eggs such as duck or emu, and smaller insert for quail and chicken eggs, etc. humidity stays within the unit nicely. The turning feature is nice. Temperature is steady. No problems at all and it was very easy to set up. Be sure to read tips, tricks and procedures to make sure your process is smooth when hatching. the manual provided gives you tips and tricks on how to adjust things in case you need to fine tune the humidity or the temperature. ... show more

We used this once right after purchase to hatch chicks and it worked great. Two weeks later we decided to try incubating some duck eggs from our one mated pair— the mom was stressed and slowly kicking all her (viable!) eggs out of the nest about four days out from hatch. But now the humidity detector isn’t working at all… the readings were bouncing around all over the place and it now reads “EE”. We’ve had to add another humidity gauge. Worried this incubator killed our first baby ducks. But we’re passed the return window. Very frustrating. ... show more

I ordered this incubator for use in my classroom with my students. I love the ease of setup but the best part of this incubator are the water bottles to adjust the humidity without me having to worry if I remembered to do it. Before I was having to take my incubator home on the weekends so that I could monitor them but with this incubator it turns itself and adds it's own water so I no longer have to risk transport back and forth on my eggs. It comes with everything you need to incubate either 8 eggs or up to 18. The inside has protection so that after your baby chicks hatch while they're drying out they can't get hurt. The last incubator I used had a hole in the center and one of my chicks got stuck and drown. It also came with great instructions of what to look for when you candle your eggs. Overall we are extremely happy and it was definitely worth the investment in a quality incubator for my future chicks. ... show more

This was the easiest set up with clear instructions! It’s quiet and I love the digital display that shows all your information. We will continue using these incubators as they hold temp and humidity and in cooler months you can use the packing styrofoam to help insulate and regulate temps. Great product! ... show more

I currently have 18 chicken eggs in the incubation process using this product. The incubator came with all necessary components and was easy to setup. It is holding the temperature and humidity very steady. Humidity can be controlled well by increasing or decreasing the ventilation openings. I don't know yet what the results will be, but I believe this machine will be a major contribution to any success I do have. I'll be candling the eggs at 7 day mark very soon using the handy, built-in candling light. I love the instructions that came with the unit, very helpful. ... show more

I just successfully hatched some Serama eggs in this incubator. I have a Nurture Right 360 as my main incubator but bought this as a secondary for some extra eggs I received. I was nervous about this incubator because the price seemed too good/low to be true, but I’m happy to report it worked great! I think I even prefer it to my Nurture Right. I love the water bottle for humidity, the alarm for when the humidity gets too low, and the ease of the controls/settings. Sometimes you have to fidget with the water bottle to get the water flowing, but it’s easier to manage than having to always pour water into the tray like with my other incubator. I recommend getting a wireless hygrometer to monitor the true temp and humidity levels and adjust accordingly (I use Govee). Good luck! ... show more
