My apartment offers recycling but you have to take it up yourself and for the past year or so I’ve been using a cardboard box with broken handles that I’ve had since move in to bring my recycling to the front. This bin looks so good it adds to the kitchen instead of detracting from it. I like having the option to drop cans through the lid vs. opening for boxes. I love being able to carry the filled liner bag to the outdoor bin on recycling day, and I appreciate the second liner for when it's time to launder the bag. I keep the spare under the bag that's in use. It is not flimsy but stands securely. Before using this, we had only a small bin in the kitchen to minimize the eyesore and it was forever overflowing since it didn't hold a week's worth of cardboard and cans, and that made it an eyesore. I'm lacking a support rod in mine. It's still functional but 1 less rod makes things like removing the inner bag a bit annoying. Is it possible to just send me a support rod?? Would be such a waste to return the product for a small thing

I was tired of having a full basket of recycling living in my kitchen! As others have noted, this thing is much bigger than it looks! I've been using it for over a week and it's only about 1/3 full. SO satisfying to pop items into the front opening and not see it again. This is a game changer for my household, as we believe in recycling (our community does not have a program so we have to drop it all off) but the idea of having two bags, so you can take the full one off to the center and continue with the second bag. I didn’t think I would like this because it’s fabric and I thought it was hard shell. I was going to return it but because I’m a procrastinator I let too much time go by and then it was too late. So I went ahead and set it up. It’s actually great. It’s pretty big but doesn’t take up any more space than a regular trash can. I like that it has 2 inserts so incase one needs cleaning you have another. The inserts have strong Velcro so they don’t shift around and also have handles so it’s easy to carry to the outside bins. The bid is made of fabric as well as the inner bags. The opening on top is made of plastic. When the bag is full it gets pretty heavy and stretches way beyond the size of the opening. It is very hard to lift it out.
