I'm 80, and familiar with most of the old-people ailments, including a quintuple bypass two years ago. I'm in pretty good shape, but I would prefer it to be a little on the square side than round like it is now. So I got out my Total Gym to see if I could shed years off while replacing them with vigor. I also intended to walk the streets in my neighborhood. But then I started to worry about what would happen if I fell, or could no make it back home. So I started to search for a cheap treadmill. And just like that, I found a free one a few blocks away. And it was a Nordic Trac. And, "t used to work." I brought it home, cleaned the cobwebs and dust off, looked for anything that could go wrong, and plugged it in and let it run. It struggled at first but eventually seemed to settle down to an even speed. I got on and the belt stopped moving. So I loosened the belt far enough that I could get my hand under the belt. Dry as a bone under there. So I ordered a bottle of silicone belt treatment from you guys. I was surprised at how quickly it arrived. I wiped the belt and board clean, andapplied the treatment over the entire board, then i started adjusting the track of the belt until it seemed tight enough. I let the belt run for half an hour before climbing on. A slight slip told me to tighten it some more. I did and it now works like a new one. All I can say is thanks. Your treadmill belt treatment must have magical properties because it brought a dead treadmill back to life. Thanks. I'm sure I could easily get $300, maybe $400 for it right now, but I think I will keep it a while, and maybe pass it on to some old guy down the road. ... show more
